I knwo alot of guys are worried but I think even Spektrum has finally figured everything out. Hope you enjoy spektrum as much as I have...I am still waitign for the Dart system for get all the bugs worked out then I will be using that I think. -Shookie <>< |
so what so cool about shortening the aerial? Seems pointless to me, considering it doesn't even come out the top of the antenna, which sticks about 1 inch out the top of the shell.

-Shookie <>< thanks |
It's a competitor system.
It's both module based and non-module based (I can't find any information on his website that says what he does, but it SOUNDS like he rebuilds your radio if it's not a module based radio.) The receivers are smaller, partly because the pins stick out instead of being inside the box (like everyone else.) He's listened to our feedback quite a bit and has moved to using "our" controllers rather than making his own (which looked quite cartoonish, imho. . . :D ) I won't spend another several-hundred to get another radio system since my spek is working great. |
Spektrum Rec's in 1/8th offroad
Quick question, how robust are the spektrums receivers? Im looking to get a Spektrum for my Helios and wanted to install the Spektrum receiver in my Hyper 7. Also whats the size of the Recievers? Are they any bigger than say the std Futaba receivers? Im not expecting it to be anywhere near as small as Ko's Helios receiver....

check my last post here and check the link...the greay thing is the reciever.. Hope this helps, -Shookie <>< Oh the dart system is also a littel different as it has 200 open channels. I am waiting to get my system back..as I was testing it for them. |
Yeah - I make no claim to know anything specific about it other than what happened while I was in the discussion! :D And other than what I can find on the website. :D
The spektrum receivers are just SLIGHTLY lighter than the standard 3ch Airtronics receivers plus crystal. And they're pretty much the same dimension as the 3ch one. . . |

Yes, I would be interested in an answer to Aaron's question. |
