Works! I can't believe how hard the transmitter bind button needs to be pressed. The case litteraly bends! I can hear plastic grinding. But it works.......

Combo:
  • Novak Cyclone (black/purple label)
  • Airtronics 94158
  • Airtronics M8
  • 1/10 Xray

Going carpet racing at Hobby Chamber to pratice for the Nats this weekend. I'll report back with how this works in that environment.

well maybe if you were'nt such a WIMP you could press a little itty bitty button hard enough for it to work If you talk to E.J. again ask him how the spektrum worked in his futaba 3PK this weekend

Default 3PK

Greg, no problem glad to help, I PM'd you again.

Also for the 3PK users, here is a pic. It's a prototype I've been testing...and it's awesome. So far I've ran it on indoor carpet and outdoor asphalt. It will also soon be tested at the tamiya track for the upcoming Reedy race.

It seems to be fine, I'm glad the Helios version came out second so I wasn't one of the M8 sheep that had all the problems with the early versions

you guys having problems with the receiver button should press it with a pencil or other pointy object...thats what I do.

Is anyone still looking for a Spektrum system for a M8? I found a source with tons of them in stock.

Looking at E.J. Evans' 3PK pic, I wonder if the original 3PK cover could be slightly modified to fit over the spektrum when it's hooked?

Are they chargin way more then what they are supposed to go for or chargin the right price? I'm waiting on one myself personally but have been told by my shop it will be in about a week or so. I called Horizon the other day when I saw on their site it said late March. Girl on the phone told me they will have them the 21 but were not going to have any for sale from the site. They were going to fill backorders first, meaning all shop orders. I immediately called my shop to see if they had any on back order and they told me three systems and like 10 receivers. He checked his area on Horizons site and they are scheduled to ship about that time. So you guys may want to check with your LHS.
