Trim Offset
A few racers have reported steering and throttle trim changes, either during operation or when turning the system on/off. We have identified the problem as being related to certain combinations of servos and/or speed controls and have fixed the problem. If your system exhibits any trim offset problem, please return your unit for service.

I couldn't tell you to be honest. Best bet would be to send it in to get checked out.

I couldn't put the module cover with my Spektrum PRO on my 3PK, I have read that the 3PKS fits no problem so I went and brought the new 3PKS and what do you know it still wont fit. The Spektrum PRO module is taller than my Futaba AM module, did I get a wrong module case for it?

Spektrum Compatibilitys!

Hi all,

I have the original Spektrum (SPM1004) for my 3PK radio. I wanted to know if I could buy a HRS (SPM1202) Rx to work with my Tx and (SM1000). So I did a little search on this thread. This is one reply i saw.

(I know he is talking about HRS Tx can only talk to HRS Rx)

But yet I look on Spektrum's web site and look at HRS Rx overview page and on that page, it says:

"Compatible with any of Spektrum’s transmitters or module-based transmitter systems"

So I ask does the HRS Rx work with any Spektrum Tx, or am I reading this worng? Along with that question does the Pro Series SR3001 and Micro SR3500 work with SM1000 Tx?

Thanks for your time,

Yes the smaller receiver will work with the old module. It will not be as fast as it would be with the new module but it will work.

As far as I know all of the spektrum stuff works regardless of what version it is. The only thing is that the new stuff won't be as fast unless it's all run together (fast module and receiver).

Hmmm....

Trying to "bind" two Spektrum 3500 micros to my M11/Pro. Problem is, bind plug is supposed to go in the battery port of the receiver...where does the battery then plug in?

Thanks.

Wow, thanks for posting that, the information on the product page is wrong. I also see it says that it is compatible with telemetry which is also wrong. The HRS modules and receivers only work with each other. Your module will be compatible with the SR3000, SR3001, and SR3500 receivers. Either the SR3001 or the SR3500 will improve your responsiveness.

Scott, plug the battery into the Throttle port, should work just fine.

Scottrik 04-22-2007 09:41 AM

Thanks Gary.

Hmm...

I don't seem to be able to get EITHER receiver to bind.

Bind plug in "B" port, battery in "T" port, receiver light flashing (blink, blink, pause, blink blink, pause). Turn on M11 while holding button on module down. The green light on the module blinks a few times, then blinks VERY rapidly before coming on steadily. Receiver light has not changed it's blinking pattern. Continue to hold button down for another 15 seconds to no avail.

Am I doing something wrong? Supposedly these receivers have bound before, and the module is bound to the original (3100) receiver just fine.

Spektrum for Mars R

Sorry as I know it's probably been talked about several times....I looked in the Spektrum website and it doesn't mention the newer series of modules for the EX-10/Z1 being compatible with the Mars R. I think the non pro(older) module is but the website says it's discontinued. I got halfway through this thread and gave up. ANY help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm running the original Spektrum module in my Mars R with the new micro receiver and it works great. Others have used the newer 'Pro' module in their Mars R and it works fine as well!

I am not saying that you are wrong at all, but are you saying there Product Managers/Marketers got the website wrong? (Again I am just asking here) How do you know for a fact they do not work with each other?

Thanks for your reply.

BTW - If in fact you are right, should someone talk to Spektrum?

SRAD 04-23-2007 04:38 AM

Thanks for the help with the info on the Mars R. Really appreciated.
