Hi, quick question: I've just got my first spektrum.... I've read that you can cut the receiver antenna to 3.6 inches, does anyone running mod touring 1/10 have done this?? I can live with the longer antenna, but making it completely dissapear under the body is an option that is very atractive.... indeed

thanks!

with the specktrum you have so much range that it doesnt need to be outside of the body , i keep mine wrapped up inside the body

Hmmmm, how much of the wire do you leave on vertical? Can you post a picture? Thanks a lot!

And I will try those 8.4 f.d.r (from Novak Brushless) Thanks as well!

Yes, thats the spektrum finding a free frequency, and then connecting to the receiver.

Anyone know where I can get wire like what they use in receivers? My micro rx wire is nicked and I wanted to replace it. I've done it previously on other receivers.

Where can I order the receiver wire from?

Default Receiver Wires

You mean like this from Horizon? Receiver Antenna Wire 72/75MHz, part number JRPA170 By JR.

I always just ask my LHS on stuff like that, they find it for me. I like to have a spare one in my box just in case, $1.50 insurance.

I bought a Spektrum micro and when I got it home it wouldn't bind... it just blinked erratically and wouldn't bind.... I sent it back (since the shop I bought it from wouldn't exchange it) and Horizon sent it back saying it binded/bound without a problem... I then went to bind it again (after being w/o it for two weeks and only having it in my possession for 12 hours) and it worked flawlessly... so I don't know what the heck was wrong with mine, but oh well
