Got a 8.5 V10 G2 motor that need a new hall sensor module. Bought one for the V10 from amain and it has 2 screws that hold it on like on my older V10. The motors I have have 1 screw in the middle. where do I find these sensor modules? I can't find it anywhere.

My problem is that I'm going to be entering in a ROAR sanctioned event in the next two months and last I checked these motors weren't sanctioned for legal stock or sportsman classes. My question is how do the legal HW motors stack up against the Schuur Speed Selects and Fantom Specials? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
These are bandit motors, so obviously a 'legal' motor isnt going to be the same. The 17.5 bandit is basically somewhere between a legal 17.5 and 13.5.

If you are willing spend the money, pick up the select/team rotor versions of either the Schurr speed or Fantom and you will get as close as possible.

I believe the new G2 version sensor boards are the one screw variety. This is how my latest edition 7.5 G2 is setup. My older versions have the dual screw setup for the sensor board. I would suggest contacting HobbyWing directly.

Default Can't change network name or password on wifi express

Got the wifi express this week and it works great EXCEPT when I change the network name it won't connect with the esc anymore. The phone will connect with the wifi express but then the wifi express won't connect with the esc. The esc is an sctpro, which works fine with the card, box, and hooking it up to my tablet. Anybody have any ideas? Tks

The difference between hand picked and out of the box motors can vary greatly, If your not running with the big boys in a national or Worlds setting then go with the out of the box motors. I run Hobbywing motors and after you figure out what timing and gearing you need for your motor, you will be very close to some hand picked motors. I am very happy with the G2 motors........

Any reason to not update firmware for SCT Pro?

I have qty2 that have been sitting for 1-2 years, and are finally getting used.

I see HW has quite a few firmware updates since I purchased these (both for the esc and the LCD programming box). They will be running Tekin motors.

Sooo, update the firmware?
