Ok have gotten a turnigy 2 in 1 box and have 2x SP GT2.0
The box has turnigy V1.06_100617 on it
Can I upgrade? to SP stuff?
Thru the box the esc has V2.0 100528 Stock
Can I upgrade to V3 SP stuff?
Do I use the SP or the turnigy or the hobbywing pc software?
Thats in the 2WD esc
The 4wd esc has
V1.10_0902 Mod
same questions there can I upgrade.

GT2 ESC warranty is 90 days from the date of purchase. Motor is 30 days from the day of purchase.

2. 50% = when you push forward for full brake, it will only apply 50% total ESC brake onto your car....drag/initial is your drag braking when your throttle is in 0 location (neutral). The way you setup...when you are in neutral...you are applying 15% (not 7.5%) brake...when you push forward, you are applying 50% brake....so it is not 7.5% from what you think it will.

Hey Solara,
SO I got a SP GT2.1 w/fan and a Tekin 550 5.5 for my SC104x4. Whats the recommended setup? I saw the Team Drivers pdf's and there is one in there for the 5.5 in a SCTE Losi. Is that a good starter? What you thinking? I have the LCD programmer so I'm good there.
Thanks

hey all. i need some guidance if you dont mind
i got the pro stock 2.1 and the lcd programmer working on a friends windows 7 32 bit computer. it seems to work without a hitch. i uploaded the 323 stock into the esc and left it just as it uploaded with no tweaking.
motor: MMM 17.5
car: sc 10
gear: 28 pinion and 75 spur
here is whats happening:
first time run of the car. did the 1/4 throttle diff set up routine
started to do the slipper set up for the height off the ground
the motor started smoking after about 6 pulls for slipper test and was too hot to touch.
let it cool down then ran it up and down the street. at about the 3 minute mark it was getting to a temp that worried me. i dont have a temp guage but it was hot enough i didnt enjoy trying to take the pinion off to try a 26. still waiting for it to cool down to test temp but wonder what that will do to track performance
i noticed the timing was at max when i was playing with the software tabs and following the you tube video. i also noticed that the drrs was at i think it was the max number. pc and all are off now. i think it was 9*
any advise for me? subnote. im new to these programming esc and this boost, timing drrs and stuff so its all kind of greek as to what i need

well that was an expensive foopah
stayed up late. made the changes to the esc and the gearing
plugged everything in and pulled the trigger on the tx
esc fan quit and smoke came gushing out of the motor, let go of the trigger and fan started back up. next payday i guess i
will see what motor i can get to use and try again. (i hope the speed control is not the issue. gonna be a bummer if motor two goes poof as well)

Aprilia, 2 general rules for future reference
1) when testing new equipment, better to be undergeared than over
2) when running boost and turbo, you need to gear way under what you would for the same motor non boosted. Maybe 4 or 5 pinion teeth, and still check temps.

cjtamu, ill try. i guess i was just a noob about it all. i uploaded the 323 stock and put in the pinion and spur that was in the sc10 manual for the 17.5 and figured it was good to go. didnt realize it would be right out of the box ballistic.
fwiw, i fly planes and helis and all ive ever done is solder up the esc to the what i now know the term as non sensored motor and flew, all this boost and delays and etc etc is and will probably be for a while pure greek.
is there any good reliable write ups on the net i can read about this boost and stuff and what and how they do what they do
