Will the Reventon S 70A be enough to Run my 22 Buggy with a 17.5 Orion Vortex motor?

Stock only.

AlanHall 11-07-2012 12:05 PM

Id have to think most any speed passion could run a 17.5 easily. If i was running 17.5 stock.. blinky right? Id definitely have an S.

Carranza76 11-07-2012 12:39 PM

the Reventon 70A is actualy the R not the S so I should be good to go then.

AlanHall 11-07-2012 12:47 PM

Even the s or citrix would do 17.5 stock

You'll be fine... The R is good for 5.5 or higher. I run a boosted 7.5 and it works great

sjenkins97 11-07-2012 01:57 PM

The S is good down to 9.5T
The R is good down to 5.5T

is it just me ore are there none Reventon Pro SP setups to found on SP sitet from there Team-drivers?

Probably been answered but I must be missing it. Can I remove the switch on he Reventon R and Stock Spec ESC. I know if I jumper the pins it will be always on when the battery is connected. I can just reconnect the switch if I need to mess with programming. Any harm in this?

I've run the Pro, R, and S Revention in my 2WD buggies and they all work very well for 17.5 blinky

I'm sure you could, but I guess the question is why? Plus if it is new you might void any warranty or possible service help from Speed Passion.

The switch is now integrated with the ESC. No more extra wiring for a cleaner look. The programming button also doubles as the ON/OFF switch.

I was thinking that lol. I just haven't had more than maybe 2 minutes to check it out real fast.

When will the Reventon Pro, or R, or S be listed on the ROAR list for non timing esc ?
