I would also believe the pro would suffer from the same problem but cannot confirm.
It is 2.5A on Reventon S and R (that is standard for the whole industry for the low end ESC)....

For REVENTON PRO, it is 3A, and I have tried the Savox and even the high power brushless servo with 7.4V power and no problem.

Thanks for the info.

I'm assuming it is using a linear regulator rather than a switch mode? Does it have short circuit protection built in? I know of some other SCs that go up in smoke if you short the output wires.

Looks like 5.75V/3A according to the manual. (Not enough posts to link to it.)

Just an update with my reventon R. I'm currently running at the short course showdown in las Vegas and it has been super smooth and plenty of power while keeping nice and cool. The brakes feel very nice and not harsh at all. A great new speed control and only going to get better with boost profiles added shortly! Guys don't hesitate to pick one up before the prices goes up!!

Also my settings are:
1-1
2-5
3- n/a blinky
4- 7
5-9
6-3
7-3
8-1
Also just a note when using the led card in stock0 profile. Since setting 3 being the dynamic multi timing system is disabled it is also skipped but the numbers can get confusing. When running stock your settings will be
1-1 running mode
2-2 lipo cut off
3-4 this is where it gets confusing where this would normally be DMTS it is now setting 4 which is DRRS and everything setting after that is a number ahead.
3-5 Abs
4-6 drag brake
5-7 neutral range
6-8over heat

I'm having some issues with my reventon r in my 4wd 1/10 buggy. After about 5 minutes it's like it goes in to low voltage protection. The buggy barely moves. After I turn it off and back on it works fine. I even shut the low voltage cut off off and it still does it. The battery read 7.7 to 7.8 volts when it kicks off.

It's not overheating either. It's coming off the track at 60*c. I'm running an LRP 6.5 and a Gens Ace 4800 saddle pack.

Try recalibrating the esc to your transmitter.......

What are you esc settings and what c rating is your battery? When you say barely moves, you mean like feels dead or just slow? Also when it does this does the fan sound the same and does your servo still have full power? A quick recalibrate will tell us more.

It moves, but barely crawling. It moves just like the one in my 2wd buggy does when it hits LVC. I am running the mod1 software, no timing, punch at 3, not drag brake, 100% brake, no voltage cutoff, and thermal protection on. The fan and servo both work normal when this happens. The battery is a 25c. It worked fine on my Novak, but I needed an ESC with a smaller foot print. This is this first day I've raced my car with this esc.

I will try the recalibrate when I get to the track in the morning. I also may switch it to the stock software since I don't use the timing function anyways.

Make sure to double check your epa's.....100 low..100 high

And check your sensor wire

Try another battery...just to rule everything out

If it was a battery issue wouldn't it do it all the time. Especially since this battery worked just fine 3 weeks ago hooked to a different speedo? Like I said previously, this was my first day running it with the new ESC.

Also, if it was a battery issue wouldn't it do it from the start and not five minutes in to the race?

the battery may not be able to keep up with the amp draw needed

When I was testing boost software I tried using a 25c batt...it kept going into lvc....I tried a new higher c and no problems

See if you can borrow a buddies battery

+1 battery could have gone bad also since the last time you used it.
