Assuming you picked up a VST 7.5 to go with your esc, with stock rotor and 30* timing our 7.5 is 4400kv.
Edit: This table is helpful to have on hand when tuning our boost function :) as i said i am on mode 8 which is practise as i like to have reverse for our tracks but will play with the pro gauge a little bit and see how i go i will be buying more of these combos for other cars cheers |

i will be waiting for the realease of the 550 size as well once i get my Losi 4x4 in the next month , i believe the 550's will be out by then :nod: :nod: i am pretty sure the 540 7.5T will be ok in my hyper 4x4 until the losi is back in stock going to run with a 14t pinon and watch the temps as our indoor track is not big so i hope i will be fine as no shops over here stock the mod 1 pinons :rolleyes: |
What exactly is slew rate and how does that affect bottom end and top end timing? I love this system!! Finally got a chance to play with some settings outside today.

I need some more help got everything hooked up and all I get when I turn on the speedo is a red light and the green N light blinking with a tone and nothing else whats going on I'm not having any luck with these speedo's but I really want to give it a real shot.

Did you calibrate your transmitter yet? If you have synced your transmitter, then you need to push power button again after you see red and green. Push button and all LEDs will be red, that is programming mode. Only then can you use the progauge. Make sure you hit ok for link device on progauge then you can change settings.

Im kind of confused on the gearing in a sc10. i have a novak gtb with the 8.5 viper motor and run 20/87. on most of the setup sheet from ae the team drivers are running 87 spur gears but most of what i read us regular racers are running a 84 spur gear. on comeseethis gearing chart it shows that 20/84 would be a good starting point with a 8.5 motor. so after reading way too much and confusing myself, im looking for a little guidance on what works good and keeps temps down.

I shopping for an ESC for my Hyper TT on 14.8volts
I came accross this unit... Can it drive my 550 novak with 2250kv on 14.8volts no problem? or should I stick with another Rx8? |

The VTX10 can run up to 17V/ 2S-4S Li-Po and is recommended up to a 540/6.5T Motor Hope this helps and the Viper set-up will definetly make that Hyper Fly!!!!!:nod::nod: But for the big bot motors for 4X4 you should go with the VTX10R! |

Is there a viper motor that can be put into the Losi SCTE 4x4? If not is there one that will be coming out anytime in the near future.

Our 550 cans are moving to production not even team members have them unless you are the special few! who i envy LOL! But they should be out by the end of the month or so last i heard from Weylin. |
