Preset profiles #1,2, or 5 will be great starting setups for a 4x4 SCT with the VTX10R/550 motor.
The VST XL motors are coming and should be available in May. The factory is working very hard to keep up with the demand for these new products
It's difficult to release so many new products at once especially with the quickly growing popularity of the VTX esc's!
I will be able to attach the instructions in a post shortly, just need to receive the manual in a different format. Right you you can email me directly at [email protected] and I can email you a PDF copy.

edit: well shoot, RCtech has such a limited attachment size I still cant even attach the first page by itself

Thanks for the quick responses. I'm sure the esc will get tested thoroughly by me. It will make rounds in 17.5 sct, mod 2wd buggy and mod 4wd buggy. Just to make sure though, 8.5 with the vtx10 will be fine in 4wd buggy, right? And it looks like 220* is the cutoff you should use for speedo temp, what should be base for motor temp?

so wait, sorry if this has been asked before, but can you tweak the preloaded profiles without the progauge?
For instance, there is no mod off road with boost, in looking at the manual. so could that be changed to add boost without a progauge?

You can change between profiles without the ProGauge, but to make specific programming adjustments to any profile you need to use a ProGauge or the soon to be released PC Link cable.

Well, I got one of the the three things I ordered today (the 17T) 
Got the tracking number e-mail a few minutes back but it didn't work? Kinda' surprised it was a split shipment...We'll see if Mr Postman brings the rest of the goodies tomorrow
