msave - We got the ESC's checked in and ready to be shipped at 11:04 this morning, about four hours after your post.

I just checked through our backorder list for the Viper ESC's and I don't see any backorders for a "Ryan" (going by your signature, of course). Which ESC did you pre-order? If you can PM or e-mail me your full name I will look into the system and make sure your pre-order gets processed as quickly as possible.

Sorry for the miscommunication. My sons name is Ryan as he is the one that races. My pre order was under Mike. As of 4:00pm est no email and I spoke with customer service at 3pm est and Robin said they were not in yet. So that's when I looked into another shop. This was my first time ordering from amain and was a little upset that they were not even showing being in yet.

amain is a huge shop just not some mom and pop store

they have parts leaving/incoming daily.. give it time.. your esc should be on its way monday morning! since your back east 3pm there would have been 12noon here in cali where the shop is located.

5pm eastern is yet again 2pm [st and the esc's have only been in amains hands for a few hours.. let them get put in the system i am sure if it dose not go out today it will monday!

i am in no way affiliated with amain hobbies either.. just a big spender their.

Mike - I misspoke earlier; we have not yet alerted customers who pre-ordered the ESC's. Our system automatically alerts customers when pre-ordered or backordered items are in stock, but these e-mails only go out once a day as batch e-mails with a customer's entire list so that you won't receive 15 e-mails if you have 15 items on backorder.

Here's the problem: the Viper ESC's were checked into stock (~11AM) after today's backorder e-mails were sent (~9AM), so the notification e-mails will go out tomorrow morning.

The item is not "in stock" today because we do not have enough of them to fill our backorders. You are high enough on the list that you will be in line to get one of the units we have in stock, and if you log into your account today you will have the option to buy it. If you don't do that today, you should receive your notification e-mail in the morning and at that time you'll have the option to purchase the ESC or decline.

Again, I'm sorry for the slip-up in communication. If you have any questions in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me directly and I will sort it out with our CS department.

I apologize for my lack of self control on this thread. I in no way mean to bash or put down amain in any way, as I have not ordered from them before. I let my impatience get the best of me today. Thank you Aaron for the prompt replies and doing your personal best to rectify this situation.

To all who preordered from Premiere....
They showed up today... but after the PO closed. So....we are going to the PO tomorrow morning to ship so hopefully you guys can have them Monday or Tuesday!

Mike - It's no problem; I hope that you feel this was at least some sort of resolution and that you'll consider shopping with us again.

Amain is a great online shop... which is why they became THE shop for rc racers. Amain is the Amazon.com of r/c. Having said that, I also happen to know the guys at bluegroovehobbies and they are awesome too. It's a new mom and pop shop, but they are racers and will treat you right. Anyone looking there, have no worries about placing an order... it's all good. :nod:

I just completed the purchase for my pre-order VTX10 and picked up a 17.5 to go with it. I can't wait to get my 22 built and drop it in. Now if I can just get some time off work to hit the track...
