What area are you from? Do you know any of the Viper team guys? Instead of sending it in to get a check up, a team guy could check it out and make sure it is working correctly. What is the ESC that is not working right doing?

If the unit just suddenly starting acting strange - might want to do some basics:

- check all solder joints (re-flow solder)
- re-calibrate speedo
- reset all the settings to default

Did all that..

I know it will cost to get a good bill of health that is cool.

I think I may need a other on/off case.

Does anyone know on a scale of one to fireball, how happy the VF8 motors are running sensorless?

i would think that the motor would be fine. However, you need a capable esc to do it.

What do you mean by capable? Just higher amperage? I'm thinking the MMM2.

the vtx8 ESC will not run sensorless. You will need an esc that can run sensorless if you plan to run it that way. As well as one that is rated for that size motor.

Why would you want to run sensorless? Its a choice, understandable. But you lose control, efficiency, and protection. I hear a lot of people say - what if the sensor cable falls out -- a quality system is designed not to have a cable fall out.

How will the VF8 run sensorless -- just find - if you have a sensorless speed control it simply will pass the power to the motor.

If the unit is under warranty it will be evaluated for that. If its outside of the warranty - we have a trade in program that will save about $70 off the normal cost of the unit -- which is already lower than other competition level units.

"need another on/off case" what happen to the case??

You can PM me if you have any other questions.
