Well this was the first time out in 3 weeks for the Viper set. I only got 15 minutes of run time on . It seems to work again. I will try to get more time on it this Thursday. I need to run 3 or 4 batteries back the back to see it if gets hot.

Buzz.

we are guessing that it is a sensor in the motor causing the skip as all these motors are set to o so off in the mail it goes .

IM thinking I can flip the diffs because it works perfect in normal but the problem with that is my buggy uses helical pinions on the diffs so im not sure .

but it would be nice to run motors forward . French buggies go figure lol

on the bright side I have gotten a education on sensord 1/8 buggy esc and motors .

Hi all,

What came of this? I have run the viper esc in reverse rotation with a reedy motor, I have a viper motor to drop in, should it work?

Shipping question

I was wondering if someone can tell me why it cost so much to ship something from this company.

is the v link included with the vtx10r-be/ez link combo #6VSVT10R20 or will you have to buy it separate?

if you have mutiple viper systems do you only need one pro gauge to program them or do you need a pro gauge for each system?

Free 7 day shipping (orders over 70.00) and 6.95 for USPS Priority Mail 2 Day is expensive??

At some point down the road, right now, we can't keep up with the early orders for the VF4. Just like the VF8, after we get caught up, there should be a combo.

It should work with no issues. Our motors are designed with 0* timing, so they can be run in reverse mode. I don't know that I have seen this motor come in yet -- we haven't gotten very many back.

PM me with what you are trying to order? 1st - it is free shipping over $70 like Bob said. 2nd - we use USPS majority of the time, you can check with shipping prices from Redmond WA, we aren't making money on shipping stuff.

VLink is the free software if you ever need to upgrade or reset your software. The PC Link is what you need to purchase to use it. The ProGauge/EZ Link program cards only let you adjust the speed control (ProGauge does more), but the PC Link updates the VTX speed controls. Its a separate purchase if you want it. Anything bought after January of this year should be up to date with software unless it was sitting on the hobby shop shelf for a long time.

so whats the difference between the ez link and the pro gauge?

i got a vtx10r-be with ez link, is it worth to upgrade to the pro gauge?

Wildcat1971 05-27-2014 01:59 PM

So until recently, I have really like the braking on my vipers. Not to say the braking is bad, but I recently found myself iwth another brand esc, because the price was too good to pass up. I really really like the brakes on brandx esc and I would like to tune my brakes on the vipers to match. I assume we would do this with a combination of the max brake and the pwm for breaking. I am looking for strong medium speed brakes, than are not grabby, not too soft. I have played with just the max brake, and that wont get it done alone. I think I need to lower my braking pwm some. This is for 17.5 buggy. We have this rythm section the finishes off with a 90 deg turn, I need to be able to brake on the downside and turn left. Currently, my brakes either lock up and dont seem to work and I over shoot the corner. Anything have some good brake settings for 17.5 for good low to medium speed breaking.
