For the two posts that stated that their systems would not turn on. Even though they are different systems - things you can try to look for at home are the same.
- try a different battery. even though it may register on a charger, connecting to a car speed control is different, so it better to take the battery out of the equation if you can.
- unplug the speed control from everything else, motor and receiver. and see if it powers on - to confirm one of those are not "shorting" the system.
- check any plugs, connectors or solder joints that were changed after the units were opened. If you if think it has a good solder joint - retouch so the solder flows. again trying to eliminate things that could go wrong.
If you have tried those steps and even checked with a different unit if you have one to see if it works. If none of it works, lets go ahead and send it in via the RMA Warranty form on the website to be evaluated. Please include all details like gearing, chassis, did you monitor temperatures - as all those can help resolve the issue.

I am sure this has been covered but i will ask since i could not find it. I am running my B4 with a 17.5 and a 10R. The Throttle Frequency changed by another racer. Since I did not do it when i got my progauge what should it be set to? track is 100x60 and I am geared at 69/35 lots of tight turns and jumps.

For blinky 17.5 I run this
pwm 5000mhz (can't remember exact number but closest one to 5000.)
Punch 100%
45 deg endbell timing (Viper VTS 17.5t with std rotor)
Geared 34/69
Shorty battery (50c 4300mAh)

Not sure how but the little red button on my vtx8 switch popped out. Switch still works fine if I stick a pin down in there to actuate switch, but is there any other solution that's a bit less tedious.
Thanks! love the speedos so far. Team drivers Jim Hustins and Steve Charles have been very helpful.

But I believe that motor combined with the 12.0 rotor would be lethal
