OK, I was REALLY upset when i wrote this complaint earlier. I just went back to the hobby room and tried again... still cannot connect to the speed control with the proguage. On the plus side the motor spins fine now... No longer sounds like it is grinding coffee beans.... On the other hand, I called Viper's phone # 7 times and left 3 messages to call me back, Still no return call... I started calling at 9 am it,s now 8 pm and no return call. Maybe i just need to try one of their better systems, like the the vtx 10r with a vst 4.5xl Maybe they will call tomorrow.

Merkur, no one can blame you for being upset. Having the system screw up twice is very bad and very unfortunate. To me, yes you have given it a fair shake. One craps out, ok. When the second one screws up most people would move on. One thing I can tell you, Viper will make it right. They want to learn from the customer and make their product better than it already is.
Just know they will make it right, despite some of the asinine comments posted here about it.

I measured the RPM (no load !) of two VST motors :
VST6.5 5100KV ---> value on viper homepage : 6100KV
VST8.5 3800KV ---> value on viper homepage : 4000KV
In my opinion the difference between the values given on the homepage differ too much from the real RPM.

Even better I'm running the Viper Copperhead w/ the 5150kv in my Ten-SCTE... Ever see a 4WD do wheelies! Almost double a table top jup that truggies we're the only ones touching!!! I run @ 3 local tracks and I'm the only one with a viper setup!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quick question tho Im in the middle of a E-Buggy build and E-Truggy when is the 1/8 ESC and Motors hit the market???

It is an pretty awesome pit mat/towel.
1. You get what you pay for - this is not just a towel - it is very good quality.
2. Limited edition - by that I mean it was expensive for us to buy, so when we sell through them, that's it - no more. Maybe something different in the future, but no this one.

spider - glad to hear everything is working good!!!

1/8 stuff if probably 2 months out - no definite date. Test esc's have been running well - same for motors!! I've been happy with the notes I have seen from drivers and we have already won a few trophy races with them.
