ok so yesterday my vx10 esc started acting up in my b4.1
I remember taping the wires near the switch with my soldering iron by accident and started a slight fray of the wires, 4 months later the fray got worse and could possibly be touching each other, in the middle of runs it was acting up and had random dead spots...
it would also sometimes not accept my radio and stay blinking neutral since it could not find that in my radio, recalibrated the esc 5 times and it did not work, even switched profiles...nothing. any suggestions? I think its the wires touching and shorting itself out.

Got my Copperhead 5150 set up last night, I am not going to lie at first I didn't like how big it was and and looked at the manual and thought this is going to be a pain and it was for about 30 minutes until I understood how it worked. Got the settings and learned the pro gauge and all I can say is this is VERY sweet set up and it is very smooth. This thing breaks free all 4 tires at once turned down. Only hard part was seeing how it programs and to make sure it was programed but after that it is a treat to mess with. Its got some torque! More than my 2 pole set ups low end excelleration is up there.

The system should find neutral better with the end points set at 100 each. If you leave the end points at 140 and 160 it might feel 'weird' at low throttle or when you first push the break.

Just took some getting used to and it doesnt feel funny at all other than being over motored for even asphalt with sticky tires lol I would like to eventually get the smaller motor when the motors are out by themselves. system doesnt feel bad or twitchy at all except when you do not expect it to go in reverse from not adjusting it correctly i was turning it off after the pro gauge adjustments lol

I run the Viper Copperhead in my TEN SCTE and I was about two minutes into the race main tonight when it shutdown. I went down, picked up my vechile and was able to turn it back on. When my truck shutdown, I was not in a middle of a jump or close to one. Given that you have to hold down the button down to shut it off, do I need to send it in for service?
