Copperhead and braking?
I just put the 4500 copperhead in my SCTE ( new to me bought used roller ) never driven a SCTE.
Just going up and down the street in profile 3 or 4..the brakes seem horrible. can i make it brake better or does the losi just weigh a lot more than my slash 4x4?
Other than that..the thing rips...just not used to hitting the brakes full on and having it "slow down" I'm used to locking the brakes and almost doing nose wheelies on my slash.
THanks for any help. I have the viper pro guague if that can help.

Check the instructions - if you didn't buy one yet, you can download them from the website.
Mundy - you got the right idea!!
nitro - good question - I haven't run any motor other than the Viper. But there are a lot of factors that could work into that situation.

I think my copperhead just died in its first time out.
When i put the truck on the ground it just makes a whining noise and doesnt go. if I pick the truck up the wheels will turn fine. It was working fine for awhile but would have a weird lag. where it wouldn't go full throttle then all of a sudden it would kick in.
Motor has 5 minutes on it.. never got over 100deg. 15T pinion. was just screwing around in a parking lot.
If I push the truck forward by hand it makes a squeek/wine in the motor if i push it in reverse it makes the standard click click click of the motor turning over.
Any ideas? I'll post a video soon. Losi Ten SCTE butter smooth if i pull the mesh apart so the pinion doesnt touch.

Since your doing video I would suggest taking close up of what the pinion is doing during this.
Your video jumps around so much its only really worth the audio.
Show the motor and pinion close up with it sitting and making the cog noise and also while it is raised and the wheels are spinning.
This may help someone identify whats going on.

Basically the motor just slips.

A, B, C? doesn't matter on this the manual says you can plug them in anyway and if its backwards just switch two wires. None of the wires or ESC plugs are labeled anyway.
Pretty sure the motor is toast
as it was mostly working for a couple minutes then just started slipping.Edit: Just took the motor off the truck and tried spinning the shaft with my fingers, it doesnt "cog" at all anymore I can turn it it just squeeks, no click/cog like its supposed to.
