understandable, but u have to look at it this way also, if you dont tell your side of the story than the statement will leave doubt in potential customers

You have to be careful as an employee of a business. Claiming "almost twice" when the reality is only 33% more, then claiming "which is true" is treading on thin water. The first time you implied that it was factual, and the second time you stated it was. Although you haven't directly bad mouthed the RX8, you've implied that it's inferior.

As I have mentioned before, I was wrong in mentioning the RX8 had almost double the FET's. When it has 36 which is not double. I made the correction, you made the correction, Randy made the correction. We get it.

Comparing "almost twice" to 33% would work out.. If it was 20% more and that statement was made then I'd be a little uneasy with that statement..

Now I would almost take that as Mr. Tekin basically said that the Viper 10r is a knock off of the original 3 yearold RSpro.. So why doesn't Tekin just attack Viper with some copyright crap and just eliminate the whole competition

But honestly.. I'm not gonna get all Perry Mason up in here with wikipedia and crap

100% more is twice, 50% more is one and a half times, so 33% more isn't anything close to double, just FYI.

I didn't plan on responding to this thread anymore, but I wanted to make sure you understood how the math worked out.

I think the whole argument is ridiculous. Both are top notch products and also two completely different products. Both had issues in the beginning stages of production. As far as the FET's go I could care less as long as the product works.

I think it is silly for you to suggest we should address it in our threads with the wild hopes that maybe a few of the people that read it here will see our response. Non Viper thread readers had no reason to be aware of it at all.

The statement was false. It came from here, I addressed it here and this is where it belonged. Now I think we are all done with it and we can move on to some friendly competition at the track.

It was a good weekend for Viper!

Last weekend in Maiorca Track was the last round of the Portuguese National Champion. Viper Team Driver Jorge Simoes drove a Associated TC6 powered by Viper 13.5T VST brushless motor qualified in second and won all the 3 A finals becoming the overall Portuguese National 13.5T Boosted Champion with victories in rounds 1, 2 and 5.

Seattle local Justin Gilkinson had a great weekend at the Canadian Off Road Championships held in Kelowna B.C. Just T.Q. and won Mod Truck and also T.Q. and won 2wd Mod Short Course. The VTX & VST paired with an ace driver like Justin proved to be too much for the competition. Congratulations on the double win!
