The number in front of the lap times tells you what position your in. I got 1st place today. The viper 2050kv motor with the new test
14.5mm rotor ran GREAT.

Would you mind sending us some test results. We have handed out many motors and rotors and never seem to get test results. Funny how that works. It would be greatly appreciated.

Had a great day of testing and found some helpful settings for those of you running our VTX10R ESC and planning on running our 550 motors.

VST4.5XL-14tooth pinion. VTX10R-Profile#2, Brake strength 80%, Brake PWM freq 8000HZ, Brake curve linear, Neutral drag brake 10%, Throttle PWM freq 9600Hz, Throttle punch 15%-20%, Throttle curve linear, Deadband middle, no timing- default, no motor protection, esc protection 240 degrees. (esc temp 120-140)-(motor temp 150-170)

Raced at West Coast RC Raceway yesterday and dialed this setup in my sc10 4x4 w 10r and tekin 4.5 and these settings were MONEY! Dialed in a little more motor punch and some more drag break but it made the truck drive much smoother and was able to get my temps in range w/ the 14 tooth pinion. Thanks Rage for the info

This is why we test. To get starting points that wont blow up equipment. I should have some more options after I get back from california, so keep your eye on this thread. I will be posting.

I just ordered one of the 13.5s for 2wd buggy, can't wait to try it. Now I kind of wish I would have waited to see how the 1/8th system works but I went with the Tekin.

I received a email from amain today telling me the Viper 4.5 550 can motors are in stock. I'm curious to know is there any difference in these motors compared to the others on the market? I'm a somewhat electric newb coming to electric from nitro, I've got a 4.5 novak still new in the package that's going in my scte once I get the final hop up parts so I was just curious if there's any major design or performance differences. Thanks
