did the viper speed control run the servo before you messed with the tester? try another servo on the viper speed control.

through the pro gauge the esc has an adj bec from 5v to 7v in small increments.

adj the pwm frequency
and on what esc

the 10 or 10r?

on my 10 at 100% break it would lock up the tires on my b4.

also what motor are you running it with?

Tried 3 different servo's. 2 Hitec servos make the lights blink crazy and nothing happens I tried a KO servo and it works but it has almost 300oz torque and just barley seems to have the strength to move it but when I plug it into the tester and hit swing mode it slams back and forth like normal? I wish I had another speed control to test this against.. I took every thing apart from my offroad truck and my onroad car and switched and moved everything and the only common I can find is that my servos do not have enough amps with the viper setup..? I think the pro guage was just a coincidence. any one else have a similar problem?

I am gonna try and touch up all the solder joints again maybe I got a cold joint and it is just not delivering the current I need..

I get Tekin at a 60% discount and quit using then because of faulty product and slow return's.Last fall I missed 3 races waiting to get a bad speedo replaced. Every thing has lemons that is why they have return policy's in place, the key is what they do after they have been noticed.

10r. the pwm freq is at 2500, using the Tekin sc4x6.5.. practice mode.
at 100% the braking is only slightly better than drag brake?

btw for forw/rev mode(practice) there is no pause between forw/rev?
what is race modified mode?

thanx and sorry for so many Qs..

update: found the problem.. i had set the epa for rev to abt 40% as there was no need for me to do reverse fast. and that had affected the brakes. thanx

Blitz looking planted Rick. RTR or ESE?
Good to see a Blitz out there at WC. Last time I was there, I was the only one with an ESE.
FT SC10's everywhere. One or two XXX SCT and a couple of Kyosho SCR's.

Off topic - But would you be able to share your setup at WC.
I was running 35/30 oil, AE Blue/Gold Spring, B/B piston, 30k Gear Diff, 30mm Ride Heigh front/Rear. Also using the Silver 5* front bulkhead.
It runs great and planted.

thanks, Jeff

Well I have tried every thing I can possibly do and come down to the fact that I just have a junk speed control I guess. gonna bring it with me to the track tomrow and see if any one else can see some thing I over looked. But this will be week 3 of our points and I sat out the first 2 weeks waiting to get it and now it does not work..:( I am sure it will be worth the wait when I finally get it up and going..
