Try selecting a standard XP theme, or firstly go into properties on the desktop, across to the settings tab, there should be a "Advanced" button there. Click that, there will be a DPI setting. Change this back to Normal Size 96 DPI. Might have to restart the PC to take effect.
Also in the Appearance tab (in the same properties). go into advanced there, choose each option in the drop down, and if it has a Font property, set this to Tahoma, size 8.

Anyone no if there is any way to limit the end RPM with 518 ? or a cunning way round this if say i only want from 3500 to 5000 or something like that.

Most probably to do with font DPI or the media centre theme you are using.

You my friend is a genius! I followed your instructions, and wallah they are there, so somehow my previous settings hid the other options. I truly appreciate it!

@ whoopass: have sent you a PM!
#1401
got you PM cheers, ok this is what I did but I have not had chance to test it, will do this Sunday hopefully!
Remove motor from car
Unscrew endbell and hall sensor PCB.
I then placed 2 small pieces of tape over the small circular contacts that could touch the endbell housing (on the removeable PCB/hall sensor).
also I insulated the 3 solder marks on the motor you can see that the motor wires solder onto. easy to see if you hold the motor facing you.
thats it, as I said not yet tested it!

I am asking again.
Does anybody know how mouch timing does the turbo add above the dynamic timing in 518Stock and
528MOD?
Is it 0-8deg or is it for example 2 or 3deg/step? More? Less?

Yeah, but it was mentioned earlier that the stock firmware added alot more turbo than the mod.
And it looks the same for mod as it is adding 0-8deg.
It also feels more than 8deg doesn't it?

its all Digital algorithms it has nothing to do with the settings why the turbo in the 518 is more that the 528 mod its just the way it is to save the esc when in 528 mod mode

Ok but it still would be very interesting to know how mouch extra timing is applied with the turbo or supercharger or whatever at various settings.
everything else it pretty straightforward like start RPM (clearly indicated by number), and timing punch (RPM/Deg)
I'm very very happy with the performances of these Esc:s!
I'm just the "must know" type

Is it possible to load 518stock onto justock esc, Im sure i read it some where, but it may of been a late night, and wishful thinking
#1410
It will not work im 100% sure of it as the justock uses a different bit cpu which will not allow the justock to run with 518 super stock software .
