Yes correct it has the 8 options for brakes on the 508 not timing v3.0 the new no timing should be listed in thje drop down in the usb link software .

Yes this software does work on the 1s for 1/12th scale racing but also the onhter esc's work aswell just need a booster if not using the 1s all you need is to work out your own fdr /rollout

Make sure u run Hobbywing USB V1.63 not 1.62 also if u run Vista right click and run as administrator.. to avoid problems..

Says "Hobbywing USB Link V1.63" at the top of the interface. I see other V3.0 configurations, just nothing for no timing software.

only came into this forum 30mins ago and had to take the car and program card out of the car boot, and frantically sort the update

Got a question about 1 things from the manual, could someone explain it to me in very simple English:


0°to 38°with the trim step of 1°
(The actual max Boost Timing is 30°. If the setting value is more than 30°, the Turbo Timing will be functional with the first priority )

Thanks Michael & Angelo for the updated software.

Just tested my car (TC5, Extreme Stock Esc & 17.5 Fantom Duo2) & it is very punchy with good top speed.

Running a little bit hotter than I first expected with the recommended settings but after a few tweaks with the settings (Higher Start RPM & Boost Timing Acceleration) i think it will be sweet.

Track testing next week
