There are instructions on the Hobbywing site http://www.hobbywing.com/service.asp?id=1 . The most expensive part is postage so if u get a few from your local club that need repair it gets cheaper .. budget $50 for the postage and depends on what is wrong but $20-$25 for the repair. I have been very happy with repairs i had done. As good as new !

Thanks, but i can't see any instruction besides saying:

Please send the products to the following address for repairing:
Hobbywing Technology Co., Ltd.
4th Floor, 3rd Building, KeLunTe Industrial Park, ShangLiLang, BuLan Road, LongGang District, ShenZhen, China

so i just send them the esc without any form filled or what so ever?

and the $50 postage is for them to send it back? As it will only cost me around $10 to send it to China.

how long did it take you to have the ESC back?

thanks!

Have not tried other motor yet,but will so I can work out whether it is esc/motor combo or speed control problems.
Cheers.

Great! Check it out at constant low rpm it cloggs and you can see the spur gear physically stop for a split second and at higher rpm mine is REALLY loud, will be interesting if yours does it aswell.

Sorry if it's been covered already, but I noticed that in one of the screens, my V3 says its hardware V2, or something like that. Does that sound familiar? I can grab a screenshot if not.

Angelo, tried different motor today 13.5 team powers and does exactly the same thing as the thunder powers, makes the same noise with no pinion on motor so FDR is not the problem.Still noisy and stuttering with no sensor lead plugged in so setup no problem although I was using the base 17.5 settings.
Have spent 2hrs with Ren at r.a.b hobbies trying to work it out unfortunately we don't have another v3 to try.

There is a bug in the V3 beta program, I had already reported ...

When you reset at the default data, the profile 13.5 stock, does not work

With 13.5 stock, for now, you should use profiles 10.5 stock or 17.5 stock and fit the parameters for 13.5
