Cherry,

The price I quoted was for the Australian market which includes 10% GST. I believe that when being sold from here to the UK there would be no tax so the ESC would be only about Australian $140

Yes the price of the older 60A ESC is cheap at the moment. No doubt distributors in HK are pushing them out with very low margins to compensate for them not being the latest version. Similar things happen when a new model of a car comes out.

I do not know what the price would be for just the ESC but knowing the price of the LCD box I would think it would be somewhere around Australian $115 (dont quote me though) as a single unit

Also just to clarify things, I am hardly an apologist for Angelo. If you look at our conversation history here on RCTECH you will see that very rarely have we agreed on anything :lol::lol:

Edited, questions now answered.

Dear greg

yes you are correct the esc is $115.00 Aud not us or euro or pound without the gst which is only applicable to Australia only .

As for the maltese customer as for not being able to buy the xtreme stock thats not true .What was said about sending from oz was all about still keeping the customer happy and supplied until the channels for Distribution have finally been set up and opened for business thats all it's about .

pretty much will follow the same path as the lipo market. At least hobbyking is open about their pricing, telling the world how much the lipos are supposed to really be. Anything that lands on US soil through a distributor will be marked up. In this tough economy, it's all about cutting the middleman if you want to survive.

OK that answers some of the questions posed, now is that pricing retail to the End user or is it to the trade?

Just checking for future reference.

Can someone help me understand two things.
1. Is DRRS a line or curve. Being gradual line for 1 and steep line for 9. or a concave curve for 1 and a convex or steep line for 9.
2. Also is Turbo timing an additional amount of timing or a solid added block.
Example:
At 18 degrees of Boost and 4 degrees of Turbo timing with no Turbo delay, Start RPM 6000 and 550rpm Timing Punch.
Will that as soon as I pull full throttle add a block of 4 degrees of timing or, when the car reaches full throttle add 4 degrees in increments of 1 per 550rpm?

Thanks in advance,
Michael.
