Just used the v2 60amp with 518 tonight for the first time. I set it up trying to get it as close to my Tekin RS as I could. I honestly could not tell the difference they felt pretty much the same. One good thing though the Hobbywing came off at 45 temp and the Tekin was coming off at 85/90 so well pleased with the purchase. Also love the fact that once you have updated the software you don't need the laptop as it can all be done via the 2in1 program box(even turbo adjustments)

Such good value for money.(hopefully will stay this way)

Also many thanks for the instruction movies Cherry,Really helped setting up and updating.

Sorry just one last question on pricing, where did Cannon get Au$115 figure from? Because that equates to £66.50 whereas US$120 equates to £78.75, are the English to be billed in AUD or USD, as this has a 20% variance in the pricing. Also what is the shipping cost likely to be to Europe as again this has quite a large bearing on the overall cost of the Units.

Personally I would pay in Antipodean currency as this seems to be the best exchange choice at this time among the 'Colonial' currencies :sneaky::lol:

Have been thinking of getting another speedo ... and have been following this thread with interest.

A few questions ... for the XERUN 120A

What is the latest version out now? 2.1?

I have noticed a blue and black version out there? What is the difference?

If I am only going to be using it to run in a 17.5T or 13.5T class, should I just get the 60A version as the limiting factor here will be the motor, is it not? Looking at the voltage output chart, it seems to be 2500kv for the 13.5T motors?

Cheers

Get the 60A Xerun. I got the blue current one and love it!
It's so cheap you get even buy 2 of them right now. 69 USD incl. shipping on ebay.

V2.0 120 amp had the big long cap board, new 2.1 has a smaller cap/caps, I think that is like the only change.

And the color should be the only difference, the blue one came out later when Hobbywing decided to bling it up, though it's terrible if you own a TOP or something like me, bright blue esc in a red car?, styling nightmare...

Considering the price difference I'd be buying the 60a if your not running under 8.5t (I think that is the limit), it's like half the price right now, in part maybe cause there seems to be a shortage of 120a stock.

Cherry,

I have stock of the new ESC. They are selling for AUD$155 which includes our GST. Without GST they are AUD$140 and take off $25 for the LCD from the package and the price is AUD$115. This is only outside of Australia as we have to pay GST here

The price Angelo was the RRP. Have you seen anyone sell anything at RRP :D It is a guide

Hope this helps

Postage from Australia would be $20 normal airmail and $25 registered
