21.5 SETTINGS
Really need help with settings for 21.5t
I have tried 4 different setups from people for 21.5t but it killed 2 motors. 1 SP MMM 21.5t motor that was at 58 deg and a team powers motors that overheated in 3 mins with the same settings.
both times the motor was slow and the run before hand had really low temps in the 30's.
my FDR was 6.3 to 6.6
Thanks for the help in advance.

Looking back at what happened on the weekend and notes back at work. Start with the FDR at approx 6.3 but run the BOOST timing at 36 Deg, TURBO timing at 24 Deg. Stay at 18 for TURBO slope ramp. DRRS at 8.
BOOST start RPM at 6000, BOOST timing at 450 and TURBO delay at .4. This will be a safe start point.
From here play with the BOOST start RPM and Boost timing Acc in small steps and keep temping....
Cheers Ren

On a side note, I don't know why so many people cook their motors. Ever heard of a temp gun. "I cooked my motor, switched it out to another and cooked that one"??? Temp every minute after you make changes to make sure its not overheating. Then you will know if you can complete a run without burning anything up.

Hi I have been running the 21.5 in the STCC this year. I have mainly used the Corally motor as the alternative wind generates fair more torque. However you can use the settings off my website as a starting point:- ( http://www.stockracer.co.uk/hobbywing.html ) The Corally motors are very delicate so these settings should be pretty gentle on other style of motors
