anybody run a hot motor with the justock esc? The manual says the hottest
motor you can safely run is 8.5t, that is so weak...i want to race modified TC outdoors in the summer and use a 5.5 or 6.5t, will i cook the speedo?

No the maximum for the justock is the 10.5T and above .you will burn the esc with a 8.5T

xtreme stock can run a 6.5T and above but with no turbo settings .10.5T and above with turbo .

120 amp can run a 3.5T and above not a 2.5T as some might think .

Bullistorm 8.5T .. apparently they are another of the hobbywing brands, based on the price ($35) maybe the quality control is not so great. He does now have an older VENOM ESC in the car and it has so far survived his hoon sessions on the road. Will see what happens at the track on Friday night.

I would run the 224 as it has the max timing....

There are 3 versions right now:

110106 (software V1.62) this one comes with the good but older 518 stock program
110105 (Software V1.63) this comes with the 1224 heavy max. 46 degree program
110108 (Software V1.63) this comes with the 110108 medium max. 30 degree program

Bullistorm is not a hobbywing brand ,Hobbywing designs there own motors through michael and my input and they are made by hobbywing's family company a relation .Our motors are not made by fiago or anyone else .Michael needed motors that would suit the hobbywing esc's so they had to be 100% quality .

Most Oem products we do are by customer requirements they want quality they need to pay for it they want cheap thats what they will get and usually all our oem brands source there own motors they are not from hobbywing .

just some info for you guys to understand.

If a brand is telling you they are hobbywing oem esc's or motors please send me a photo and ill let you know as most who want cheap and narsty head over to other manufacturers in Asia and claim the product is hobbywing as thats were they first started there oem brand but trust me they are not hobbywing at all just use the reference hobbywing based which is untrue .
