Can you run the blue 60amp ver 2.1 with a 13.5 "boosted settings" in a Touring car and still not need the fan?

Do you think i would get away with it?
some racers have used it with no fan but to be honest i dont recommend it because with boost settings you will create alot of heat and if you cannot get the airflow to the esc it will cook as some of the motors like the 17.5T,105T,and 13.5T ,11.5T become like mod motors under boost settings .

If you want it now build the dang thing yourself and bring it to market. You obviously have all the answers and know what everyone wants....

Default ddrs <7

Just a quick question on the Speed passion setup sheets it states that when using 528 mod or stock that a DDRS value less then 7 should not be used..

Anyone know why this is and if it relates to the Hobbywing software also? or is it just a Speed passion thing?

cheers

DDRS = punch mode /start mode .power to wheels example torque at start.

level 8 and 9 are very aggressive and could damage your gearing and motor.

Im sure your statement is wrong shouldnt set DDRS to more than level 7 not the way you have written it less than 7 .

It was some talk about the earlier hobbywing stock softwares that they didn't work correctly is you set the punch to less than 7.
I dont know exactly what the problem was though.

Yes, the SW 422 Hobbywing and Speedpassion have this problem, if you use a value less than 7 DDRS the supercharged does not work.
The problem was solved by the SW 518.

The new motor comes in blue and gunmetal color. I gues the color is just for show and isn't an indication of a different type of motor? Just like the blue and black esc?

yes the different colours are for looks .nothing different between the black and the blue .the blue represents hobbywings logo colours.
