1.Abnormal input voltage (and thats at start up when the esc checks the input voltage ) and when not right it will beep.
2.Abnormal throttle signal ( when signal is low or not detected )
thats all .

Hi, any good starting point for 2wd off road rc10 on a large track with 13.5t motor? Thanks.

What motor are you running
I have readed the pdf file and understand now how the timing works.
(is this the same with a Speedpassion?)
I find only 1 thing strange. There is mentioned that a lower start RPM with a low timing punch will give you more accelaration speed.
My own findings are that you increase the motor head and that you arn't having more accelaration speed.
I drove yesterday a race and the SP driver used my speedo because he had not enough power to keep up with the other speedo's.
He used one of my speedo's and he was a lot faster.
Now I understand wy he had to gear heavier to keep up with the others on the straight. This also made that he lost a lot of infield rip.
A low start RPM with a heavy gearing makes that the motor gets hot verry fast and doesn't has that much torck.
I will try some other settings on the speedo as I see him again.
this setup I will try.

this way the motor stays cooler by a heavier gearing.
Also do you get more torck with the motor.
Some settings look like the same as the Tekin. The difference is, is the amound of timing and that you have more options for the Turbo ramp Turbo delay and RPM settings.
I have with my Teking 3,3degrees of timing each 200rpm.
But with a heavier gearing will this be about the same.

I've verified what sosidge says (by scanning the endbell into a CAD package); there is actually 20deg of adjustment which is why it makes a huge difference.

what settings and FDR are you using for spv3 as i can not keep up with the duo motors the pass me down the straight

timing on 10. as I set it lower, the motor has no power.

I tried the v3 on the "zero" setting and it was dog slow (although did run totally cold). I cranked it upto "10" and it screams nicely now (and runs at around 60deg, so not too hot).

I am going to try next to increase turbo delay time and add some more endbell timing and see if temprature keeps in check.

just a Q: what happens to HW ESCs if u accidentally plugged the battery terminals in reversed polarity order?

I was lucky with my old SP LPF1.1, as well as a couple of brushed ESC's. This is when I used to have all my nimh's with bullet plugs. Later on, I changed to lipos and Dean's plugs, so I eliminated this problem, really.
