Hi all,

Refer to the capacitors included in the speedo, the instruction manual said that they must be installed even through some are come with the motor. I wonder they say thing like that is because those capacitors included in the speedo are different from the one already attached in the motor or just for in case???

Hope somebody could help.

Thanks!

Regards/Andes

Talking smiles or frowns

OKAY, this is what I did-- turned on the radio, turned on the ESC, DROOLED OVER THE HELLO BIT , pressed the right button until I reached the LOAD menu, pressed the center button and the settings display came up, pressed the right button once again until I reached the LP5' factory-set program, and lastly, pressed both the left & right buttons at the same time for 4 seconds until END was displayed on the screen; I can't remember what I did after that but I think I pressed the center button again to start scrolling through the different menus ( freq., P.L., Volt, Time, etc..
Am I on the right track, I ran the car after that and it SEEMED to run fine. I couldn't run it too hard though, you know, in the hallway with neighbors-n-all. (living in an apt. SUCS )

JayBee, I'll post pics of mine soon so you can see just how someone else installed it in the Yok. Just as a reference if you ever do the servo mod.

mr4-tc sp-I've never had any problem with that. If it would make you feel more secure in using extra caps, by all mean do so. It won't hurt anything.

JayBee- When "END" is displayed, program load is stored. Or you can turn the ESC OFF/ON after load. (BTW, nice soldering job )

Also, others have mention this before about the ESC, and it happen to me once. Sometime while racing, (hitting something or something hitting you) the ESC stop and go into a "SET" mode, just turn it OFF/ON and put it back on the track.

Shoo goo is fine as long as its a VERY thin film. The double sisded tape (not servo take but thin double sided clear tape) is the best thin to use. if there is any thicknet to what you use to mount the heatsink you might as well not put it on.
Hi Adrian Martinez,
I have 2 Zero Extreme 2002. You sent me a heatsink & stickers sometime ago. I would like to run 19t 4-cell on high-bank oval. Do I need to use the heatsink?
My other Keyence need service (it stop working after a crash to the walls of BMS). I understand you got the new Rapida Pro. If I send this to you for repair, can you upgrade it to Rapida Pro? If you can, how much?
BTW, how is Warren Clap? He's a good friend of mine when I used to live down there in Clearwater/St Pete. If you see him, pls say Hi for me. Thanx

Nope, I run an 8 turn on 6 cells in a sedan and I dont run it.

If your speedo is out of warranty its $50 to get a replacement refurb unit exactly like your speedo. There is no upgrade program for the Rapidas.

I'll try but I have been running Schu USA for 3 years and I've never met Warren.

If you bought it from Schumacher or a Schumacher dealer you can send it back to us. If not you have to contact the place you got it from.

Address can be found at www.racing-cars.com. Click on US flag to go to US side of website

I'll post some pics of the car and close ups of the servo area early next week when I get back to work. I don't have a good digi-cam here at home. A lot more room opens up when you move the servo sideways and forwards. You'll see.

Tim - Be sure that your Ensa level is set to less than 100% if you are running that Schotky Diode. You will burn up your high speed FETs if you do not do so. I learned the hard way!
