Thanks. I didn't know the older speedo had the ensa option. Someone posted the question earlier and it wasn't answered. I will look at it and change it. For 19t tc I just set the radio settings, load P6 and set the frequency to 3.0 and let it rip.

Thanks,
Tim

I don't think his Keyence has that feature. I think ENSA is only on the new Rapida.

Tim,

Is there anything wrong with putting the Novak Super Schottky Diode on my motor since I am using the Zero V Extreme 2002? I think I can...but I'm just making sure. I would like to try it out.

All the some Zero V EX and all Zero V EX 2002's had Ensa. Its the last option in the main menu right after F_br.

The Novak Schottky will burn up FETs just like any other Schottky if you have the Ensa at 100%.

Adrian,
I went through the menu on mine last night and it wasn't an option. Mine did come from an early batch. It was sitting on the shelf a long time before it's previous owner purchased it. Thanks for the heads up though.

Kev,
Are you gonna make an appearance anywhere this weekend? I will be going to Livonia saturday but I am going to the nascar race at MIS on sunday. Gotta make the little lady happy.

ttyl,

Tim

Yep, I'll be at Livonia on saturday. It's good to hear you will be up there. I look forward to seeing the "gang" again...lol!

Anyways, have you heard the big news? Larrys is doing alot of changes, and one of those is getting new carpet in and more pit space! Their track is currently closed until around September 13th, or so they say. If you haven't been there in a while, I will fill you in on all the new things going on there!

Thats not one of our dealers. Ask them who they got it from. If they got it from Competition products you can send it to us. If they got it from Ricky's or Ultimate in CA you need to call them.

Yup, heard the big news. Actually heard it a while ago from Larry. I think that I am just gonna hold out until Toledo and another local track open up. Larry's is a nice place to shop, don't get me wrong, but it is a very limited racing environment for 12th scale.

See ya saturday.

AdrianM - can you describe what the ENSA option controls? I scanned the manual quickly and did not notice a description. Thanks.

It was never put in the manual until the Rapida...dont ask me why it was omitted but it is in most of the speed controls out there.

ENSA controls how much power get sent back to your battery during the run 100, 70 or 30%. 100% is the default setting. NEVER run a Schottky diode with the ENSA at 100%...you will burn out high speed fets.

If you run 70% or 30% you must run a Schottky diode.

AdrianM,

Am currently using a Zero V Extreme 2002. I checked out the Ensa right after the F_br (or the engine brake on/off) as you've mentioned but found nothing. Can you confirm this?

Thanks!

Kevin,

Have you checked yours yet. Here's someone else that has the same one as you that checked the menu. The last option in my menu wasn't F_Br, it was listed as E_Br. The same option, but listed differently.

Oh yeah, I won't be able to stay too late Saturday. My sister in law's mom is coming in from Japan on Saturday and we are having a meet and greet. It should be interesting since I know very little japanese and she doesn't speak english.

Hey AdrianM,

I have a Zero V Extreme 2002 with a cracked case. Are the cases avaible through Schumacher and if so what is the part number?

Thanks,
Brandon
