Not sure where the KO fits into that lot, couldn't find voltage drop specs for it.

I have been reading a few pages of this thread and to me..I think you would never be able to tell any differences in the resistance of the fet's(the # that were talking about with the mid to upper speed controlers)The bottom line with speed controlers is on the track performance,I just got one(from STLNLST..THANKS..
)GREAT speed controller,I rate it above the GTX, LRP Comp 2, GM V12, and the KO (the KO is a good speed controller)The speed controller I'm using is the Zero ex.It has the best punch for stock racing I have ever used.

However, Neither of those speed controls are even close to offering the features and adjustablilty of the Rapida.

I have the Keyence Zero now and was thinking of getting another esc like the Rapida. I like my Zero that I run now and if the difference is not that great I will look at maybe another Zero for a spare or a Rapida for my race one and the Zero for my spare.

just want to add my 2 cents worth...
When I bought my TA-05 I wanted to go with a new ESC, so after having spent countless hours reading through the various posts on which ESC is the best I decided on the Rapida Pro. I can very happily tell you that it was definately the right decision, I ran the Rapida Pro back to back with a Novak GTX and the first thing you notice is that the Rapida Pro is by far smoother and does not run as hot either and that's without the heatsink or a power cap installed. The features available on the Rapida Pro are very impressive and are not as difficult to setup as some posts make it sound, the GTX was a little bit more punchy but I will play around with the drive frequency to remedy that.

Man, the instruction manual for this thing makes me feel like I'm reading another language. Setting this ESC up has the effect of taking off about 80 I.Q. points right off the top.
I think I need to play with it a bit more, but learning all of the settings on this, plus a brand new Futaba 3PK, I have realized I miss the old days of turning one dial on a Novak T1x to get everything set up.
Good god, I feel like a moron right now.

Ok, so I have been playing with this ESC for a couple of days now, and I'm starting to figure it out. First, using the correct half of the manual helps considerably. Once you get a handle on how the different variables are set within the ESC, and then understand what the variables actually are, this becomes a super cool piece of the electronic puzzle.
You're right, I can't see myself going back to a Novak product.
This thing is pretty dern cool.
