by some chance is this all happening at the same track or location?
is it all in the same car? are you jamming a heap of wires into a small box with the rx?
its honestly worth the time cutting wires shorter etc to have less in the box.
are you Browning out the rx with two high powered servos on a low input voltage?
Please let us know what you end up finding, curious...
in nitro im running 2s lipo with two 2282sg servos and not had an issue?
ebuggy is a xr8sct with a savox 1267sg on 7.4v from esc.
rest are in bashers.

Shrunk down some wires so they were not so long and re-soldered the motor, and moved the receiver and other electrics around a bit.
I did not have the issue once during a few battery packs of running.

So I went to the track yesterday and had some issues with my nb4. The steering was twitching, the esc output was notchy and the receiver kept shutting off. After trying a few different setting changes, updating the receivers (both the large and small ones) I couldn't get it to work properly. The car even took off on it's own a few times and ran into the wall or off the track.
The problem was the cheap turnigy servo I was using. I swapped it out for a hitec one I had laying in my box and all the issues went away! Everything was really smooth and responsive the way it's supposed to be.
I know I read a few people were having similar issues. This is want fixed mine.

Settings, RX set, Servos Frequency.

You can also change the digital servo frequency.
Had an FGr4S receiver die on my yesterday. It lost connection during a race. When I opened the radio box it was still plugged into power and scalding hot. I opened it up and plugged it in. Within seconds it was burning hot before I unplugged it. A component must have failed dead short for it to get so hot so quickly.

Hobbyking lists the FG4RS receivers as being waterproof. On the Flysky site I can't find anything about them being waterproof. Does anyone know if they are actually waterproofed? I want to run one in a crawler without using a receiver box. I was going to open them up and conformal coat the board, but I don't even have a hex driver small enough for the tiny little screw on the bottom of the case. Anyone know what size that would be?

i have a couple high end servos that are a bit jittery at center point. I could blow hard on the wheel and the wheels jitter a bit, hah

The frequency the receiver updates the servos at. Many servos seem to run at 333hz but you can adjust it up to 400hz on the NB4. You can also set it lower.

I tried that when I first installed the radio. When set to digital the steering servo would go crazy, even after lowering the frequency. I tried analog and that seemed to fix it, or so I thought. The last time I went to the track it was jittery again and the throttle was not smooth. The rx would also shutdown. I swapped out the steering servo and everything changed.
