RD & Ray,

Thanks for all the info. I'm looking forward to running my car in actual competition. My next question was where do I send the registration, then I glanced down at the form. I guess I'm sending the check to you Ray. Looking at your address, I live like 4 miles away from you. It sure is a small world. One last thing, must I disable reverse in the ESC? Thanks again, you guys are quite helpful.

Yeah, I noticed that too....Welcome to the Challenge neighbor....LOL

Naw, you can leave your speedo the way it is, but just don't use reverse during a race....Wait for a marshall to straighten you out, if you need it....

fhpe - I'm also running Mod Micro...so look for me (i'll be in the tech area/near Ray's set-up) and we can go over a set-up and stuff

I'd bring a selection of pinions with you (obiviously), because even though it might be a big course, too big of a pinion might hinder you car instead of helping...Shoot me an email if you want to talk more about this ([email protected])

what kind of motor/esc are you running?

k_bojar,

Cool beans! I'll look you up. I'm running a Mamba Micro Pro w/ 6800kv motor. I'm currently running a 12T pinion. Top speed is sick, acceleration from a dead stop is good but not as quick as the Orion BB that the mamba replaced. My current battery packs are pretty old and may not be able to deliver the needed starting amps. I have some elite 1500's coming today, so I'll see if that helps. If not, I'll try dropping a tooth or two. So what are you running?

I'm sure we'll have them out waaaay before concourse....

Hey andyh, the number plates are sick, but not half as siCK as that body!!!!

Are the headlights custom done???? They can't be decals....

Also, the rims and rotors are crAzY toO....even the little HPI insert in the rim is sick....

Who owns that body is that so I can ban them from our concourse....that just ain'T riGhT.....LOL

Number plates...

FYI we will have handout race numbers

Depending on when..Ray?...has the concours scheduled for...

We can schedule it as the first thing on the day, so everyone's bodies are still nice and pretty. Also that would allow those who had painstakingly replicated 1:1 cars (logo placement etc ) to to keep it as is and not have to slap a giant RC sized race number on they're creations...for the Concours
