Andy: are the Moorespeed Mazda available and if yes, do you have the part #?........ Will you have any on hand at the track in the morning of race day for a quick paint job?......... Can't seem to find one anywhere.

Thanks,

Thumbs up

FYI… If anyone is thinking of taking the train either yourself, family members… spectators… I did this today…. Took a whole 6 minutes to walk from the station to the pit area at Taylors.

Ray, we need the rod!!

Top speed is sick, acceleration from a dead stop is good but not as quick as the Orion BB that the mamba replaced. My current battery packs are pretty old and may not be able to deliver the needed starting amps. I have some elite 1500's coming today, so I'll see if that helps. If not, I'll try dropping a tooth or two. So what are you running?
I'm running a Tekin Mini-Rage with a 6800 motor as well..I need to look at what pinion I have on my motor - it still has the same pinion from the last time I ran it

You'll probably need to drop a couple of teeth anyways - the BL motors have the RPM, but I think they lack the lower end compared to a brushed motor , so maybe you'll wanna try starting with a 10t...new packs wouldn't hurt either , but "lacking the starting amps" isn't something that applies here - its not like the "cranking amps" needed to turn a 1:1 car over

I'm actually running a 2s lipo pack in my mRS4 - I have the new Exo3 chassis and that's lipo only, so....

Here is something not spoken about yet, but I think Ray would probably cover in future posts. It is extremely important that we (racers) present the best of images to spectators, other current and future racers and those who host our events by not leaving behind any refuse. ie clean up behind yourselves!!!! Bring with you a plastic bag and take your "ish" with you! This includes any and all header cards, plastic and/or any packaging for rc related stuff, any food packaging and for you guys who run foam tires, all your foam remnants. We want to do what we can to be welcomed to do this deal again if the opportunity presents itself again.

yes...as long as its a nice weekend (ie, no rain) - people will be out watching...Even when we used to run at the Alpine, we'd always have people watching at some point on the Sunday...

When we did this at Home Depot a few years ago, people were 2 or3 deep around the track at a couple of points throughout the day...

Don't worry about the people - its a good thing for R/C racing to get as many people out as possible to watch It helps people understand that its "more" than some kids playing with toy cars - its ALOT of different people playing with toy cars, but not the kind you get at WalMart

If you are running three classes.
Would the total be 1st 20.00 + 2nd 15.00 + 3rd 15.00 = $50
