Default HPI Challenge...Cherry Hill N.J. 5/31-6/1

WHOOT!!!! THERE IT IS!!!!!!

The Six Foot Tiger Race Team and I are once again teaming up to present the second leg of the 2008 HPI Challenge Onroad Tour!

For you "Out of Towners" who may not be familiar with Taylors Bar and Grill, this is THE PREMIER NIGHT SPOT in the Delaware Valley! They are just excited as we are, to host this race at their facility!

Here is their website so you can look around a bit....

http://www.taylorsbarandgrill.com/directch.htm

They draw very large crowds on the weekends and have special events almost daily there!!!!

They also advertise on radio station Q-102 and will be promoting the event there as well....

We're also getting a great discount on a GREAT hotel through Taylors, which is only 1/4 mile away!!!!

Ther is also a massive shopping center directly acrost the street, so we should have no shortage of spectators that weekend....heh heh heh

This has the makings of another riDiCulOuS North East HPI Challenge Race, so get an HPI ride, and lets paRtY LIKe rOcK sTArS baBY....

Here is a link to the host hotel....Crowne Plaza

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/cp/...lsearchresults

You can look around here too....I was quoted a price of only $99 through Taylors!!!! I was in this hotel once before, and you just won't get a better value than this!

Way too nice for us racer types......LOL

Note: Just don't try to reserve yet , until I get an HPI account set up....Thanks!

This will be an outdoor parking lot race....I looked at the proposed racing area, and it was freshly paved (i.e. micro friendly)

Yes, this is an HPI only event. If you don't have one, there are plenty that can be "borrowed" for this event....

Class specs can be found here....

Electric Sport
-HPI Sport/Pro 2/3/4, E10, Sprint, Sprint 2; HB Cyclone chassis.
-19 turn motor limit (brushless allowed, 10.5 min. per ROAR rules).
-Spec tire: #61147 HB Gumballs Worlds Spec Racing Slick Tire/Wheelset.
-Chassis option parts allowed.

In this class Is it save to assume any esc and receiver, and lipo ok if its roar approved?

I'd ask this question over the in actual HPI Challenge thread - this thread is specifically about the Challange in NJ, and andyh makes the last call...So i'd ask him...

I wanna say lipo is allowed, but I think its only in the expert classes...
