Neil, will you be at the track on Fri? All the NorCal people will be getting together for dinner after the track closes Friday and you guys are welcome to join us. We haven't decided where to eat, but it will be someplace close to Ultimate.

Hello All,
Well this is hard to take at this time but I will not be attending the TCS Nats this Year!
I have come down with a life threating Blood Clot in my lh leg and am currently in the Hospital in Richmond, Va.

The doctor's tell me that they have it under control but I can not walk or fly in a airplane due to the severity of the clot.

I will be watching the day to day press updates via the Tamiya web-site and from my brother Bruce you will attend.

I hope everybody has a good time and do some great Racing during the week, I will certainly be thinking what it would be like to be there.

Steve.

Now Steve you are looking at this wrong get the surgery and git yer ass out here that way I won't be the only person who has to put up with Neil and the Gimpy comments. I even have some disabled parking stickers I can put out for you.

Hey Steve,

My wife and I hope you get well soon. We were looking forward to seeing you at the TCS Nats. I will just have to wait till TCS at Toys for Boys for another run, open wheel style. Christie and I wish you the best!

Steve-
Please allow me to add my regrets to those already expressed here. You've been so strong this year in F1...I figured you would be a major player in the A.

Still, better to have discovered the problem now, and not while you're traveling or driving. My family has had some experience with blood clots of this nature and we know how debilitating or (gulp!) fatal they can be. At least you're in Richmond with your family and the support they can offer.

My best to you and yours. We'll miss you this year, but know that you'll come back even stronger in 2005.

Take care
Doc

Todd-
Billy got ahold of me today and we talked about transportation. We should have you guys covered. Glad to see your name on the F1 entry list...I was a little worried.
See you on Friday.
Later

Get well soon Steve. What a terrible thing to happen to you. Good luck in the hospital, I know how degrading it is to be in there.
