Are you attending the TCS Nats this year in Aug??
SH
The TB03 looks like it will be a fun car to experiment with. It just might be the holy grail for GT3 racing....

I am interested in attending the 3rd annual last race at the Tamiya facilities. August has a random schedule that may or may not conflict with my ability to go. I should have everything ready in case my fortunes of fate gives me the green light to go.

Canadian TCS Nationals: Kingston, Ontario, Leading Edge Hobbies

This weekend 7/26 - 27.

Anyone going? If so, seeya there!

I'm entered in the F103RM Invitational on Tamiya foams. Glorious historic format: 4 rounds of heads-up racing, no IFMAR. Toss out yer slowest round, and add up the fastest 3 rounds. Them that has the mostest laps with the leastest amt. of time, is da winnah!!!

The BEST part? I can put everything I need to race in a carry-on.

Should be a fun time, with good weather if the reports hold up..

I'll be heading out for the 2-1/2 hour trip from Toronto sometime tomorrow. Going to be busy this weekend, with GT1, GT2 and Mini..

Any insight on getting these motors running their best as quickly as possible? All of my motors (Reedy Challenger 19T, Silver can and Black can) are handouts, so I don't have much time to get them prepped for racing..

It's going to be on outdoor asphalt, hopefully a large track, should I try the oneway or spool for my TA05 in GT2? Just bought the spool a week ago, debating whether to stick with the trusty oneway or not..

See ya at the races!
James

Default TCS at RC Madness 8/10

The last regional TCS race is going to be at RC Madness in 2 weeks.

Surprisingly, nobody is promoted it here with hotel, track and general information.

Their website does not mention it and the RC Madness thread is quite dead.

Anybody have any pictures of the track, barriers and layout?

A lady was passing out flyers at Glen Burnie,... This is off the flyer

Sat Aug 9 - open practice 10-6
possible club race at ? ? ?

Sunday Aug 10 - Open practice 8-9:30
concours/drivers meeting 9:30-10
qualifying starts at 10

Rain or Shine we have an indoor track too!

Information call Chris at 860-741-6501
www.rcmadness.com, Enfield, CT

As far as hotels usually I have had great success with Priceline with the name your price option. Memphis I paid $30 plus tax per night and Glen Burnie was $55 plus tax per night.

Hope that helps
