MPH RC,

Thanks for the compliments, unfortunately we do not have the type Bs, but I believe 5 sets is plenty for the race weekend. Usually you can get away with practicing on take of CS27 (which are very similar to new Bs) and getting a setup from that. Plus the fact that you might run a round with As (if you get a round early in the morning or really late in the afternoon/evening) So I think 5 sets is plenty

Good luck everyone! See you all Thursday

Default glitching

Did you grind out the gun metal anodizing on the inside of the can near the locking ring? I think I remember this trick from the Reedy race thread. Maybe it was one of those glitch busters from JR.

I see you found your glitch problem. Any insite for us Evo rookies in case we experience the same?

BTW, what color car are you going to choose for the KOH race? (It worked for Garber.... lol)

I read we can only purchase 5 sets of B's. Is this true? Will B2's work nearly as well? Are B2's available? What about A's? A guy needs to practice with something. Tamiya has not been shipping tires for the last three weeks and I have not been able to get any for practice. Does RCTech have tires?

Hey Marty what's a happening?

The glitching was fixed by replacing my 75mhz synthesized "dial-a-crash" components with a Futaba module and HRS receiver. The one that I'm using is on loan so I have to find my own soon

KOH yikes...don't do this to me. How about you? If I were you, I'd go with Dan's suggestion and use the Mitsu...then the white Acura.

Tires are gonna be hurting if you can only pick up 5sets of one-run B's. For practice, I've been using TakeOffs CS27's. They're close, but not quite.

Tomdav-I tried that and many many other things...none worked until I switched my transmitter module. It was interesting because my stuff worked with EVERY motor prior and Fred just showed up to do some testing with the 23 turn to make sure they're okay and his worked fine straight out of the box.

I hope this helps.

Rod C

Rod I hadn't thought of that.

At Reedy I was having some of the glitch on my 3PK but was using the Module from my 3PJ. I switched to the 27and HRS and no glitch I haven't switched back since, the bonus of the servp response with digital is awesome.

Marty bring the 27's for early practice and use the B's starting friday. Like Rod said they will be one run wonders, the second run will notice .2-.4 drop. If the temps are up it can be even worse

So am I to understand that they are allowing us to purchase 5 sets...or will be be able to use only 5 sets for the weekend?

From what I understand it's five sets that you can purchase from Tamiya to do as you please.

F201 B's or Sedan B's? You already know about the sedan B's...one run wonders.

F201 B's were terrific...lasted the entire 5 mins...and then some..

anyone know if wheels will also be available at the race this weekend?...hope so.. and if anyone can pass the word the powers-that-be, I would like to have the Williams type wheels..

a side note.. ran against a fellow running the spec motor fo the race.. I was impressed with the power coming out of that thing..

The sedan b's are one run, but the F201 b's can last quite a bit longer. I was just wondering how effective they were last sat.
