Rod, are you setting up camp today? Or do you have to work?

I'm at work and you probably already left for the track hehe. I got in early so I plan on leaving early.

I'll swing by the track and see all the fast guys do hot laps while I worry if my car is as good as theirs hehe

Hopefully there'll be a nice package waiting for me when I get home

Safe trip to all you out towners. i look forward to a wicked fast and competitive weekend. That is as fast as you can make those black cans turn. Is scotty doing the race announcing? That mans got game. Loved the job he did at the reedy. Nice to see him bring his daughter out.

Marty you riding your hog or flyin.

It will be good to see all of you again. Enjoy an awesome weekend.

I think Scotty's going to be more in a racing mode. He's doing the Past Champions Race but he said he may do some announcing.

Good run Neil...now if only you can get your times down to 19T Spec at the Reedy Race hehe.

Thanks, F201 is still not as fast as sedans. Your runs still need to be matched. More testing needs to be done.

Tell me about it. Poor things are getting beat up. On a very disconcerting note, I rebuilt my motors last night and guess what I found. There were all these small orange flecks inside the can and endbell. I thought it was just the usual floatsam that gets sucked in but when I tried to spray it out, they kinda stuck to the motor...yuck. It appears that the paint used to tag and mark the armatures is falling off due to the heat and making a mess inside of the motor. I'll bring this up when I see Fred or the usual suspects this morning.

I just reread the Mini class rules and discovered that it will be a handout motor. We can buy extra motors too, right? It says only one motor will be given out, but it doesn't say that you can't buy another.

Also, when will the motors be handed out? For those of us that will be there on Friday, can we pick up the motors then so we have time to break them in?

From what I heard, they are already being sold at Tamiya right now. You get two motors only, and that's it. Those are the ones you'll be racing with, and you can't get extra practice motors from what I'm told
