What is the exact model of the short wheel-base kit with the MR-S body.. I GOTTA get one of those, they just look too cool..and they handle fairly good too...

OSherman.
The SS (short wheelbase) arms turn in soooo much harder and it has tons of rotation. Combine that with a 1-way, and an 8-turn and its a hairball of a ride.

SS hard suspension arms - 53578
lightweight MRS body - 49265

This is true. I can turn my car fully with a hair of movement on my radio. this is where your set-up comes in and mellow that characteristic and the results are nice. So it is really a matter of preference.

I enjoyed watching the MR-S body driving around the track. The uniqueness of the kit makes it desireable.

Here's TAOB Team's MR-S entries just before concours. The baby blue one is mine(GT3) and the maroon one is from one of our member, Chris'(GT2). The maroon won GT2 concours and I used the blue one to TQ GT3 and end up 2nd overall. Izzy, 3rd in GT3, ran an all white MR-S too... I only remember 2 other MR-S bodies being run... Radcliff used Ling's black carbon one in GT-2(A-Main) and Ling used a chrome painted one on his 414m to take 2nd in GT-1...

I would say it was a pretty good showing for a fat bulging body... =)

BTW, RCInfinity, I saw your F201 race and you can add me to your fan list... you drove so smooth in the A-Main... you made me wanna get my F201 out of "retirement"... can't wait to watch you duke it out with the rest of America at the NATS. Good Luck!

JC, MDawson,

Thank you guys for setting down my car all weekend, and also a big thanks to you guys during the 3 minute mad wrenching we had to do before the main

eeyan,

good run man (although I had my money on John ) But you and Izzy put on a great show.

RCInfinity,

No, no more F201 for you, take a break so us slower guys can catch up!

The things you can do in adversity.

It was better to test the system prior to the nationals. Yesterday was the throw-away. Game on for the show in Sept.

Now we can put the "good" stuff in your f201.

eeyan,

Like I said, call them up, I think they'll be more than willing to replace it for you if you give them this heart breaking race story I think PMR packs were working great in mine, John's car I believe were PMR powered, and so were quite a few F201 A mainers (I think I saw a few PMR packs on Mr. Infinity's car
