Copying the design ?? An LD3 is an LD3 and an NTC3 is an NTC3 Lot's more stuff to adjust on an LD3 and lots more thats done different....it's not like the NTC3 & LD3 parts are interchangable

Back on topic my new 12TR is ready to be broken in Only mod so far is the optional OS Speed Hyper Head. I like the TR's, had one in my Reflex for a couple seasons and it pulled that tank around our tight track real well

Here's a pic...

I just ordered one of the OS R-spec motors from my LHS. Based on the promising posts, OS reputation and the fact I did not want to dish-out $250+ I am hoping this is a winner!!!

Since this is my first Nitro I hope we can keep some dialog going for tuning this new motor. BTW, my LHS confirmed the 7/15 arrival of the R-spec. at the distributor (7/18 to me, hopefully).

Does the TR-Rspec comes in 5 port turbo version as well?

Tower Hobbies now has the R-spec listed as "in stock" limited quantities. I ordered on 6/21/04 and my credit card just got authroized today.

Looks like I might have one by end of the week.

Hey guys...

I'm really interested in the 12 TR R-Spec. I ran a 12 TR last year but wanted more power this year so I turned to Sirio. It ran well at first, but I've been having multiple problems with it lately. So when I saw this new 12 TR R-Spec in RCCA's Inside Scoop, I thought I would look into it more.

Problem is, I can't find any hp or rpm specs on it. Not in the Inside Scoop listing, not in Towerhobbies listing and not even on OS's website. Anybody got the confirmed HP and RPM stats on this new mill?

I'd love to switch back to OS if they can get me anywhere near my current Sirio's 1.45hp @ 39,000rpm.

Thanks in advance for any info. I'm ready to buy now if the numbers are right!
