Default Cleaning the OS 12 TR

Just got the engine but it accidently fell in a bucked of sand. How do you fully clean this engine out? Really don't want to take it apart. Can we just pour some liquid through it and thoroughly clean it that way?

Just accidently tipped it over on the table and landed in the bucket. I was planning to start breaking it in. Talk about bad luck.

You will have to take the engine apart to be on the safe side, the .12TR is an easy engine to rebuild. Just use denatured alcohol
and soke the engine, re-oil. Check closely for any sand grauals in the engine.

Default Hyper Head

Well I finally got around to installing the Hyper head on my TR-T. I must say it's quite an improvement! I was only able to lean the motor out a few small moves before I ran out of sunlight but I can already see a good improvement with this head.
What would be a good pipe to run with this engine/ head on a NTC3? This car will be mainly for bashing but MIGHT see some track time too....
I've heard the RDL pipe is a good choice but what about the OS? I'm mainly looking for low to mid end power!

Hello from France,

The best exhaust I test is the Mielke Inline exhaust.

Mielke exhaust

I test Rd Logics ( Turbo or not ) , but the meilke is better.

Do you have a source for that pipe? I'd like to give it a try. Thanks
