JP engines

And your statement is not compleetly true, the 2011 Gimar engines are using the P2 rod what does not work in the older JP engines.

The Sleeve from a 35 plus is the same as the older jp's. What is different is the piston for the Eagles, the connecting rod is at a different height than the 35plus pistons. This is because the sleeve sits at a different height than the 35plus engine in the eagle. Its the same for the TQ max engine, you could use the 35plus p/s in those engines even though by the eye they look the same. The engine will run but the performance will be terrible.
So what you have can work but not its best performance since the piston, sleeve and case are all at the wrong heights. My guess is that you have a lot of head clearance when you use the 35plus piston and sleeve in the Eagle.
I also think the 2011 p/s will not work in the old eagles, Although the piston is the same as the 35 plus in this case, the sleeve sits lower in the case.
So my advice would be to use the correct piston and sleeve for the correct engine if you want a good performer

The upper edge of the sleeves comes in 2 thicknesses, 2mm and 3mm. The 3mm komes with most (I think all) motors with a 14.5mm crankshaft, the only different one is the REX321/421. (I can not tell about MAX)
I have fitted many different sleeves into JP Eagle crankcases and all were running fine. Yes, when using a sleeve with a 2mm upper edge you have to place more shims at the button head or use the buttonhead of an older engine. When building up an engine I always check the head clearance, it is not wise to make radical chages and trusting the right headclearance with the same shims.
But ok, I must have been lucky that all did fit......

The 2015 is great. You may also want to try the Sirio 2058, which also works great.
