Cool, I wish you guys the best of luck there, just tell your son to remember to stay calm, and dont drive faster than he can, even if you drive slow each lap and dont crash, it'll be faster than pushing the car too hard and crashing. Wish I could have made it, sounds like it'll be a blast.

Default Idea Copy

Hi TG

Just read on a Spanish RC Forum, that Sirio is about to produce an engine with your same concept of the one piece sleeve with the upper part of case, and that they would produce a first bacht of 500 engines some time this year.
I Guess good ideas get copied fast. Did you know about this??

Good luck at the Winternats.

I always was saying Sirio is fast Next will be ......
This design was in massaging for last couple month in different Russian's schools, so probably they got info. But any way, I am first in RC cars and the rest just on tail.

Just get the engine out fast so that you get your money before Sirio does...

Is this for a .12 engine?

They already had something similar with the .21 engine at the worlds I think.

sirio was testing a simila type sleeve and case at the 1/8 worlds
a few months ago. I guess they are making it for the .12 engines
now also. the problem with sirios from what ive heard was the
rods just don't last so i hope they redesigned that also.

tg are you running same specs on all the motors that your taking
to florida or are you done testing the timing and and other
#'s on different p12's?

Sirio was testing different type of desing-it is integrated sleeve with fins on upper part of sleeve. That system is using in airmodeling control line team racing engines since earlier 80's and still use it. It is totaly different concept of engine, but still very good and we have a lot of expirience with it. Let's see if Sirio can find juce there. It has some triki parts.
About timing, I can't disclose this info now, but promise after couple weeks will do it. You saw cranck and just try to imaging timing My engines are stock and I don't change anything there beside head booton shape.

There is no secrets It is open project, more then that I offered to one of the most respectible modiffier to go for it together, but was no luck, so I did it alone with my Rusian's friends.
There is no KGB anymore it is FSB and and it's even worse.
