Where can the engine be bought? I was reading an old article and thought it was a nifty design.

Engine will be available on our web site on end of July. For outside US will be available through regional representatives.

Thumbs up

I saw the new PR .12 first hand last week in testing and I must say it looks like a Great piece of work!!! Any and all serious racers considering a Sirio or Nova based motor should really take along look at this one... Power was great from all power ranges, never lost it's tune and had a super sweet idle sound to it... Edward, keep up the good work...

Running last Saturday on club race at Revelation on 3 qualifyers-finished second qualifiyer after Jefrey Lin. Both, Jeffrey Lin and Brian Thomas (Palmaris/Profi), broke track record. 2 times was run away due to the radio problems, second time was bad-more then 25 second (estimated) at full RPM (also because of impact motor moved and no gears were ingaged)-engine as new, nothing happened with that, fixed radio , started-running the same as before run away. It is stock ROAR version, BRB, glow plug O'Donnell.
Second motor is testing in Hong Kong by Chris.
First batch of motors scheduled to arrive on end of July. I will try to push to arrive before Nationals, but this is most likely will not happened.
This is so far I have to report.
Edward

Default PR12

Kitracer, any news of the PR12 engine testing? I have just break in the BRB set today. The power is awesome and easy to run in. I will tune the engine tomorrow and would like to ask you for the recommandation shimming for 25% nitro.

Hey what uppppp. PR12 testing this sunday. test timming this time.

For 25%, I suggest 0.4mm total head shim. You can get away with 0.3mm with more power but need to be careful, read your plug. If wire goes in, add a shim.
Use TF6 or TF7
Tune it like you use to with other engine but you can reach 130 , if it does not sing.
Now, go n rip the track.
