Im running a JP 2620 with medium manifold and its going very well ,just a bit on the thirsty side.
A lot of guys recommended the Skyline VR12 Plus ,so I ordered them from Raceday.I also tried a Mega 2607 but its now where close to the JP.

Yeah, the 2630 is a good pipe with the PR12 and is my favorite for all around performance. I like the JP 2620 for top end and Nova 2630 for low end. Medium length header in most cases but I use them all to tune for the track.

my frenz has this BRB, fitting into Nova RB crankcase, use nova LL5 crankshaft, OS P6 turbo, with RB carb. ok, recently, he got his needle mixture mixed up, so our frenz help him to retune, we found that his LSN is only 1/2 turn, then he changed a new glow plug, ran for 1 round, and the plug blew off. so may i ask wats the problem here. previously it was ok for him, powerful engine, but now, i help him open up his engine, there is these vertical scratches on the piston. and turbo head is very slightly rough (meaning overheat i assume). so how can we help him out? thanks.

Any idea if the new axial green head engine would be better than palmaris PR12? or its exactly the same?

It sounds to me like the engine was detonating which caused the plug to blow and the pitting in the head button. I suggest adding .2mm head shims, see how it runs, then remove a .1mm head shim if it runs ok.

Depending on the size of the scratch, you probably won't have to worry about it. If you still have compression (different than pinch) then run it. I've run Palmaris piston/sleeves with huge scratches and they are still fast.

I would suggest also that 1/2 turn out on the bottom end is a little too low. Try turning out at least 1 turn then retune top end after you add the shims.

I'm sure it would be. Give it a try to let us know how it compares to others.

any tweeks to PR12 BiMetal or BRB to make them sing a bit more ??
Mega Masmo and CRF's are embarressing me ,so much so I am contemplating getting a CRF or even Murnan modded one.
We run 16%.

dismental my engine yesterday, but found only now i realise that the piston pin (the 2 clip that secure the piston) is very different from OS, as in OS, there is a tiny bent bit where u can pull the clip out. At 1st i thought it was broken, thereby causing my engine to have few scratches on the piston wall. but then i check again, it seems that both sides are the same. so my question is how are we suppose to remove the clips to replace the conrod?

Use a scalpel or other sharp fine bladed knife to hook the clip out.
