Read in your post that that parts ( what part are they ?) are being tested in the UK for the mega picco engine (who is testing them?).......when will they be available coz i have got one of them in the spare box !!! The engine was ok, but the carb is so horrible to tune, replaced with a nova rossi carb, got to test it soon. Oh when the pr12 is out ? Would be great if you could supply me further details.

On the other hand, i have been running a rb rody c5 for a while now, the engine is great for mid and top end, but it suck on the bottom end. I was thinking of using the shim form my JP to put under the sleeve before inserting into the crank case.....this will alter the timings on the engine.....from your experiences how would the engine perform....from my knowledge this would increase the bottom end due to raised exhausted port...right or wrong ?

Thanks

philip
Hi Phillip. How is going?
Didn't talk to you for while.
The part we are testing right now is connecting rod and so far results are perfect 3+ gallons and not even marks of failures. I really can't say who is testing the parts- I don't know names, but I got feedback from different people.
About shim under the sleeve. Let's see what is happenning with engine when exhaust is rasing. The dwelf time on which pressure from burned gases apply pressure to the top of piston is decreasing and this moment there is no other forces pushing piston down-loss of torque, but longer exhaust open-more effective pipe work-rase of RPM. It is premature unswer, but in 2 words this is way it is. Answer is NO. If you need more buttom end get 5 mm longer pipe and increase induction on opening side by 3-5 degrees, and do not cross line of 35 degrees ABDC.

Default website updated!

Hey guys. I just managed to update the website today with a whole different look. Hope you guys like it. If the top looks a little weird that means you have your internet options set on the largest font and you should change it to meduim font. Otherwise i think this is a better layout and more organized. I havent finished uploading all the pages yet and the team pages are not finished but im currently in the process of completing it.

So if you guys like it or have any comments, please feel free to email me....

Also if anyone has any rc racing videos and would like to donate them to me via the computer, it would be greatly appreciated.

The big question is when are we going to get our hands on the Profee.

I'm sure a lot of people are already waiting for it.

Hi to all the team! congrats to you francis, good driving and also to Todd. Our florida series is starting this month and i am really anticipating the arrival of the profee before it starts, not to take away from the rb with brb sleeve which is still running strong after at least 4 gallons thru it. But as Todd has said We must always strive to be better,

Thanks Edward for your drive to design and build the best engine in the world.

Hey Leo, I have finished all the videos from the winternats and will be sending dvd copies to you this week or early next week. The website looks great, Have fun all Peter
