I am sorry. I don't make 21 parts any more-no time.
Only one item I have for 21 engines is pistons for ZX21 which will fit in original sleeve. I have 4 of them.

After 1.5 litre, (I think the engine need 1 more litre to fully break in ). SKyline pipe and HEC second generation are identical in power from bottom to Top end. The HEC 1st gen had better top end but litte less on bottom.

I was using 17/61 & 23/56 ( 710) . This engine really like to rev and you can hear it at end of straight so I will switch to 16/61 & 22/56 this week end to test.

Fuel consumption is excellent. I can easily get 5min 30 per tank so after fully break in , I hope to get another 10 to 15 sec.

The lap record on this new layout on our track so far clocked 17.6. My best is 17.8. Can't do much on driving skill but hope the engine will help me pull that gap closer next week.
Went out few hours of testing with PR12 today.
I changed to 16/61 & 22/56 (710) , tire dia 60mm, it is definitely better

30% odonnel, 0.4mm head shim.
Odonnel 97T plug
Temp 28C
humd 82%
Engine Temp 128
HEC 1st gen Pipe

After engine tunning done, I start setting up the car.
Then I realise I am keeping up with most 1/8 on straight and start lapping the same pace as the fast 1/8
my lap is down to 17.1s as traction was really good so this help.

Something should aviod to use on this engine is low gear ratio and big Carb. I have been trying from 6.5 , 6 and 5.4mm and best result is from 5.4.

Hopefully I can race at next week 4th rd Kyosho cup.

Default PR12!

Hi

Is the PR12 a full engine or just a sleeve kit?

What sort of price range are you asking for? And is the motor made by a known manufacturer for you (Eg: STS, Picco)? And is the PR12 IFMAR legal?

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

BB

Palmaris PROFI PR12 is complete engine, on previose page there are pics of it.
As about known manufacturer-it is made by factory in former Soviet Union and they have production expirience for 10 years for airmodeling engines, they make control line Speed engines, RC Pilon engines and contrlo line Combat engines. Their engines been world champion in control line Speed since 1992-every one,-in Pilon most of them. We are friends for many years.
Yes, engine is IFMAR legal and EFRA version is on the way (limitd quantityes will be available within 2 weeks).

Thanyou for your quick response

Is that a composite carby on the PR12? Also the engine mount screw holes are they the same location / size as what a Novarossi would be or are they different like a Picco based engine? Is the exhaust port/ gasket size same as Novarossi and is it ok to use Novarossi Turbo plugs in the PR12?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but i like to know all this sort of stuff before i make a purchase

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Default BIG WIN - Palmaris Racing HK

Congratulation to William winning the 4th Round Kyosho Cup using PR12.

Qualify position
I started 2nd Position ( yes long time since for such a good result for me)
William started 3rd Position.

Final Postion
William 1 st
Me 4th.

William(non sponsor driver) just got the engine last week so we are still looking for best setting.

He used 0,4mm head shim with 30% odonnel , 99T odonnel, temp 106C
I used 0.5mm head shim with 30% MECCA , 97T odonnel, Temp 125C

Will post pictures and more setting later.

I guess we really shown the other "Team" what is 1 HP about

Morning qualify, I had small advantage over most making the only 33 lap. William second fastest only few sec behind made 32 lap. But I knew a Kyosho driver made faster lap and he pulled a 34 lap for TQ in the last round. Rest of the A main made 32.

I am the lonely Serpent 710 in the Touring class. Not sure if any MTX 4 today but they did not made the A or B's main. One NTC3 made the B main ( I think he's from China) so rest of the field were RRR, Of course, it is Kyosho Sponsored race! I wonder when will the MTX4's start to show up at racing. Love to see them in action to break up the RRR dominated field here in HK.

On the FINAL, I started off well and I knew I could not catch the Kyosho driver (but I also "knew" his engine will go BOOP soon ). William had a bad start, he over acceralated and hit the fence, before the first lap finishes, he was down to last position.
At about 3 mins, I was leading (engine problem from the Kyosho driver) but not long I made a mistake and cost me 12sec to get back on track. At the same time William is attracking. He was behind me but we have different fuel timing, I knew he passed me after 15 mins.

My time at the final was not good because I made a wong choice to switch to harder tires! so under steer all the way.

William switched tire also but without problems. He was gainning to the 1st and 2 nd car by small margin each lap, they were all about 10 sec in front of me. ( I should of concentrate my driving so I would have been little faster haha) Willaim passed them , I think, the last 1 min and won by few sec.

So good race for William starting from Dead Last to win this big race in HK.

William bought his PR12 engine from Hobby shop and only a privateer. He have many engines including JP, Max, RB... and he'd choosen Palmaris PR12.. (ok, I better stop )

In Mid Dec, the Final round Kyosho cup. We should see some top Kyosho driver from overseas. Adrien Bertin, Shimo, Mr Andrea Rossi?

More later
Chris
