If you idle hangs after WOT that normally means your HSN is too lean. If it drops to idle and then goes back up that means your LSN is too lean. If you have richened the HSN to stop the problem but now it wont change into second gear you need to adjust your transmission clutch. Tune your transmission around the engine not the other way around. And always tune the HSN first and THEN the LSN. Don't mess with the LSN until you have the HSN properly tuned. Sounds like you need to go back to base line needle settings and start over. Also you need to check and make sure you don't have any air leaks as that will cause similar symptoms. Your fuel tank cap may not be sealing properly or you may have a leak around your carb base.

All R7s will fit in a motor that takes R7s. They do have batch numbers, and theres running changes from time to time, but they will all fit

I'd prefer 16% nitro with 9% oil (.12s are designed for 16%). Running higher I would put a 0.1mm shim under the head and up the oil to 11%. OR just run 16%/9% as that will be better all round.

I usually run 16% but can find any locally so I'll hold off till I find some 16%

Anyone have experience with the Top Elite 7 On? It seems very similar to ISON 21, but the cylinder has a different part number. The specs are the same.

Would there be a better choice in the ~$200 price range? How much power would I be giving up going with this or the ISON21 over the latest high-end engines?

Maximo what setup do you recommend on buggy for a p5xlt? I have an 086 a JP2 and a Reds 2104 pipe to choose from. Also what head shimming and carb insert? I'm wanting a lot of power and good mileage. 30/8 blend byrons

make sure to run a bigger 9mm carb insert...very important.............. then try each of the pipes, the real magic is finding the right manifold.........my guess is the 086 but those copy pipes can be al over the map so who knows.

Default NOVA ROD #07006 #07009

Hi,

the MITO 35wc uses the #07006 rod (R4).

By any chance will the #07009 (R7) be a suitable alternative?

Yes. All "R" rods are te same in dimensions. The R4 is lighter and stronger so they say. but I think The R7 is no difference/

Planning to dive into GP 1/10 onroad for the first time, I can get below combo new for around $170, are these a good set to start with?

353 RACE 12/S
TUNED PIPE = NV51611
MANIFOLD = NV41619

at my local track they run 0.12cc 3 ports turbo engine, am I getting the right engine?
